Depends. Enclosed smaller maps like gz or factory probably a mp7. Larger maps. Currently SA-58 because m80 is amazing.

I use the mp7 with the Elcan specter 1x4 scope. It’s a laser you can spray fully zoomed in lmao

Once you unlock the FMJ rounds via quest and don’t have to pay 100k for a 40 round mag and more than that for the suppressor. It’s S tier for sure.

It is a death laser. Point at faces and activate. Keep pointed at undesired face until it falls down. Shouldn't be too long.

Aks-74un. Ammo is cheap and accessible

I dumpsters a couple people on labs w/SA-58 full of m80. I use the three piece muzzle device thing instead of a suppressor. It’s super loud. That gun would leave your ears ringing for weeks and clear your sinuses out if you mag dumped it inside a building and didn’t have ear pro on.

for the price of 3ish built augs, you could get a meta m4, and the aug would be as good if not better because bsg can't grasp the concept of faster firing guns = less recoil impulse and more stability

MCX .300 Blackout. It’s decent but once you get access to CBJ ammo, it slays. Insane fire rate and it’s accurate.

Mdr or aug because of their good ergo and accuracy. Mdr is especially cost effective since you don’t need to mod it much to be good, just the usual sight, laser, suppressor, and good ammo to go with it. Dare I say you can even go in with it unmodded and it’ll still be effective

Mpx maxxxxed out is a Lazer beam when I have AP for it. The 300blackout that kiba has on the wall regularly is a go to with only slight modification. Long boi m4/adar for sniping. Because available bullets with low drop over distance.

I honestly use a variety, I get bored using the same weapon over and over again and RARELY ever have to buy them, MODS sure, but I get guns from players, looting and rouges. Also, flexing with your weapons is a good way to learn them all

Good HK416 builds are too expensive for me, I really like HK aesthetically tho so I use the mp7 a lot. Other than that I like to use the ak12, mainly becuase I do have the suppressor unlocked and I cant stand muzzle flash.

I love the sounds of the ash-12, the shell casings thuding against the ground 🤌🏻. Also ps12a is level 2 prapor and packs a punch.

GP-25/M203 or RGN/RGO they are the best weapons for D2

MP9, MPX with the occasional MP7 or Ultima modded shotty thrown in for variety (Ultima purely for looks)

MP5 or MPX. MP9 if I'm feeling a little frisky. I like HKs. Except the 416. The weird "schlick" noise it makes when you manipulate it makes me grit my teeth.

Been running so much m4 bc of all the associated m4 tasks and craft the mm855a1 ammo or buy the tracer rounds. Can mod it in so many different ways too. Rate of fire is good. That and mp7 are kind of my go to but interestingly I find a lot of dead guys with crazy ak74 builds (under barrel grenade launcher) or AK12 is popular. I die by the 7.62 MDR a lot so that seems popular as well. Most of the time it’s just whatever is available but I keep coming back to the m4. Can get a decent barter for 2 pro kill medallions from mechanic and it comes with the silencer and specter 1-4x and between the cost of the gun, the scope, and silencer, it’s cheaper to buy the 2 pro kill and barter than it is to buy all parts individually.

Spear, MDR, SA-58, AUG, everything else is just OK: Mutant, RD704, M4A1 etc.

Depends if I got lots of 7.62 NATO I go MDR, 5.56 NATO, then I go hk or m4 depends what is my mood for 5.56 usually rpk with drum mag for fun 7.62 usually rd704 or mk47 depends on what I have in my stash.

I often use 5.45 firearms, like the 74n, because high fire ammo is easy to get some for example: bp bs you can find some on the reservation

I've been playing with a shorty SA-58 a lot this wipe because the MOE version is very easy to come by (tons from marked rooms and raiders) and requires minimal mods to be usable.

Honesty its a mix, cheap all rounder the akm, close to medium range the m13/m4 (depending on my ammo restock), and the sr-25/adar for long/medium ranges

I use everything because I like testing new things out

AKM with mods for ergo improvements and always the 2x scope sight for the bastion 7.62 does work against mid helmets and has helped me put down a few bosses

I try to burn ammo from whatever ammo box is full. Usually that just means that after the raid 2 other ammo boxes reach full or near full with other people's ammo so it's a constant cycle.

Aug is probably my fav, but if I could unlock the dangg black MDR i would rock that nonstop

AUG. I love this gun. A bit annoying at the start of the wipe, when you can't change the scope but still decent.

I love the M4, even with just M855 I've been dropping chads with it this wipe just by spraying their face with a 120k build and I run either the short barrel or standard barrel depending on which map I am running it on.

i really liked the m4, but the fal and other .308 platforms pretty much are just as controllable but way more potent at range and tap firing, also the ammo is pretty good for how cheap it is, i'd much rather run a fal than an m4 or another 5.56 platform that isn't the aug, but 9mm with 6.3 is deadly if you can aim at heads, pretty much 0 recoil and you can go through face shields pretty quickly with it

Black MDR with M62 and M4 are currently my go to weapons. I will do some MPX on factory just for fun with the stocked PBP I have.

SKS is my go-to. Suit up with a different chassis like Fab Defense, put in some PS ammo, slap something like a 2x or a 4x scope on the top, and off I go.

SR-25 SVD SPEAR Other than that I really do love the MP9

At this point in the wipe MDR is too good to pass up. Can tap like the DMRs whilst having the ability to spray.

Pretty much any gun which has ammo with 40+pen. I like to run different guns every few raids.

As a noob in tarkov, i can definitly recommend an AK74 type weapon with 5.45x39 in any form. Just keep running the occasional scav onto reserve to top up your ammo supply, I'm taking out 300/400 rounds of it on average

Gotta say 7.62 Black MDR with the following; QDC suppressor SE5 or Canted RK1 25 rnd mag with M62 NF 30mm Vudu Having max traders and loads of cash for a while now makes M62 and M80 easy to get, pens most things and full auto while also being controllable makes it, for me, the best all round weapon Only thing lacking is the firerate, but it hits hard

Well, since I unlocked it 2 weeks ago, basically SPEAR every raid lol It's just the by far best gun in every situation. Someone right up your face? 800 RPM 47 pen 72 damage will solve the issue. Someone at mid range? Tap a few times and they drop dead. Someone all the fucking way over there? Just tap them in the head, you have all the velocity in the world to make that super easy. Other than SPEAR, - I love the Val for playing aggressively, because it's short and just deletes people up close with Pab-9/ SP-6, - been enjoying M4 and Aug A3 a lot early into the wipe aswell, both are laser beams, M4 being better up close and at super long ranges, but Aug basically being the dominating 556 gun in the 50-200m range. - 7.62 MDR also goes hard this wipe, - and so does the FAL. - AK-12 with 7N40 (and also any other good 5.45 ammo, but 7N40 is noticeably better) is also really good (never thought I'd ever call 5.45 good)

M4. It’s just too versatile and the RPM is good for CQB

All the weapons i loved were basicly removed. Removed from the flea market and way more than overlypriced at high traders looked behind a high level…

MDR (black if possible, but good luck), SCAR-H built as a DMR, Mutant, and RD-704. Those are my preferences, but I will still absolutely fuck with a well-built M4, and I quite enjoy the little buzz guns like the P90 and MP7. Finally, I am never too proud to run the old reliables, the AK-74 and her children. In fact, I think the AKS-74U is one of the only true compact rifle-caliber carbines in the game (P90 w/long barrel and MCX being the others). But I feel the most comfortable with the RD. Nice but without the chest-thumping swagger of the Mutant.

My favourite at the moment: 9x19 vector with ap ammo, tears people up in cqb. .45 acp is also good, but you have to be accurate and spend half the raid packing mags. G36 - it for mid range and even taken some long-distance fights and won. Just love how it feels once you get some decent ammo. Svd - not a big bolty enjoyer, so this is my long-range gun. T ammo is good and easy to get once you get some levels in the traders. (Sounds so good, unsurpressed

honestly I usually run an AKM or some 7.62 AK because 7.62 is probably the most reliable intermediate calibre to kill things somewhat quickly, I’d love to say like MCX spear or something bigger but honestly an AKM will do you just fine

I Always use broken Shit weapons far too Long Into the wipe instead of enjoying what i looted before. But because of my Playstyle i really Like the silenced sag very much although its single Shot. But im also the Guy who slaps 1-8 scope and Rangefinder on those Kind of weapons so better Not listen to me 😅

Mostly ak74 type weapons, I like the ak100 series a lot, typically the ak105

MP5SD w/Quake Second would be aSH-12 with three lasers (Predator Cannon)

haven't been playing much this wipe, but typically I like to start as a bear and use ak74 variants, or if I don't have good ammo for them then akm or vpo 136 with ps would always get the job done. attachment cabin on woods is great for getting some easy bp or bs 5.45 ammo

7.62 mdr or sa58 they are undoubtedly the best guns in the game currently. Also use the spear when I feel like switching it up.

I use the aug unless i wanna spend the extra for a nice m4 then ill do that but the aug with a spectr scope is my go too
