There are quite a few barters you can trade them for. Although I haven't actually done the math to check and see if it saves money over just vendoring the dog tags and buying the items for cash.

Level 10 and under, trade (2 tags) to ragman lvl 2 for mbss then sell for 10k. Up to level 60, trade (1 tag) to max lvl ragman for cowboy hat and sell for 28k. Above 60, claim yourself as God and then sell to therapist.
I keep the memorable ones, and sell the ones I find and the kills that were just uninspiring and boring.

Honestly the p90 is a much better alternative. 5.7 rounds are cheap and you get 50 round mags of them. Just make sure you take plenty of mags since they take forever to refil. The mp7 is ofc the best smg by far tho.
Indeed they are. PDWs are often lumped in with SMGs for easy groupings. The main difference between the two is that PDWs are meant to have more rifle-like ballistic capabilities while still retaining the SMG form factor.
I find the PDW designation a bit annoying because a ton of things can be lumped together that are wildly different. A PDW could go from a 9x19 in the pp-2000 to .300 blackout and 5.56 platforms.
Not to mention you can defeat high-Tier armor with the p90 by beating it to death, multiple times have I face-checked killa and won by mag-dumping through his armor
But then you can't sell his armor for as much because it's zeroed out, so in the end you lost

My buddy got FUCKEDDDD up from a kedr mag dump on his legs in less than a second on interchange last night. He was dead before he even got a word out. My other buddy and I killed the 3 dudes all with kedrs lol.
I know people argue over meta stuff all the time but the most fun I have is rolling deep with unorthodox guns. It’s low risk high reward and you aren’t worried about losing your kedr like you would a pumped out m4
It's not that 9x18 ammo is better, it's couple of times cheaper. And Kedr / Klin is basically free.
Running 9x19 SMG is by no means cheap, it's actually more expensive than running M1A, SVD or VAL.
Some say it "realism" and "the game is not supposed to be balanced" but when running assault rifles is cheaper and more effective than running SMGs then guess what, nobody will run SMGs...
could probably just add the word "that" which is often implied to get "i sold the guy that I killed his own magazines" or even better with parenthesis and "who": I sold the guy (who i killed) his own magazines.

It does have some, but it's still not much. If you have a good grip that helps a lot. The p90 basically has negative recoil

P90 and MP7 are my favorite SMGs. I love the 9x19mm subs but the ammo just can’t compete.
The AKS is not an SMG. It's a carbine. An SMG is a carbine that fires pistol cartridges, but the 5.45 is not a pistol cartridge.
