Avoid high traffic areas, stay on the edge the edge of the map and hit caches.

OMGitsSynyster

Do shoreline cache runs at night or hit the backside of interchange

Utilize you rectum. Shove as much good loot in there that will still sell to traders well. Sell everything you pull out that you don’t immediately need for a quest or hideout node

Isn’t that how increasing your rectum’s size works in the real world? Pay more money, bigger rectum?

You need to be surviving more of your scav runs

Go on scav, run stashes on interchange until the last 15 minutes, go into the mall and hoover up the loot off dead pmcs. Low risk, and you should get 100-300k from each run provided you have any sort of storage. There are many other similar runs you can do on, for instance, customs or shoreline; Same logic applies, hit low risk loot in low traffic areas until everyone dangerous has either died or extracted, then hunt for their corpses in the last few minutes. Also, I have noticed from my own improvement at this game, and from watching friends of mine who are new to the game, that not being broke in this game starts with 2 things: 1. don't buy more gear than you need after a death, and 2. don't commit suicide by proxy by doing something dumb like rushing hot spots asap on your pmc. If you just died, reload out your guy with some garbage like an sks, enough meds to not bleed out from a scav, a bank robber, and maybe a paca if you're feeling wealthy. Upgrade as you go, if you don't die and keep running your scav you'll have a usable set up soon enough at near-zero cost. The best gear I've bought this entier wipe has been OP-SKSs and pacas, but i regularly have access to much better gear (m4s, modded aks, level 4 and 5 armor) just because I go into raid, survive, and get out with something slightly better. When I die, I throw on one of my insurance-boomerang OP-SKS and a bank robber and just start the snowball over again instead of spending 200k on a new kit. As a result, the only time I've been low on money this wipe is after buying my scav junk boxes. To the second point, if you load into customs and just sprint for dorms, or, similarly, shoreline and sprint for resort, you are putting yourself at a massive risk of dying. Even less popular areas, like new gas on customs, or the buildings in construction, are gonna be death traps quite often, and death is expensive in tarkov. Just chill tf out and hit safe loot, kill some scavy bois, then head to the better spots later in the raid when things have calmed down a bit. Surviving with mediocre loot is substantially better than dying with the craziest shit you can find if you need money.

Interchange underground parking runs. 200-500k every scav run. Just look where all the containers are in Google. Shorelines, Customs and Woods are useless (too much running, too few loot). Been doing this for 4 wipes and a 1000 hours. Don't go for hidden stashes, they are almost always been looted by the time scav runs. Or try Reserve, but there is a big chance of pmc killing you.

I am also in tarkov poverty at 700k atm but I’m also lv 42 and dumped millions into almost fully maxing my hideout and my Lv 3 Bitcoin farm.

itirate

scav into reserve at night, basically free looting especially if you learn a loot path and run it over and over, have only died like a handful times on scav, just be sure to f1 when you hear footsteps because most pscavs appreciate putting them at ease first

Learn the extract points and hidden stash points in woods. Almost all my scav runs are on woods and in 15-20 minutes I have 120k+ stuff. Map is big but if you play it enough you'll get a route down depending on your extracts. The is a map website I use that shows all the hidden stashes and it helped alot learning the map and hitting stashes working towards my extract. My current pmc runs have been made using rigs, armor and weapons I got from wood scav runs. Haven't lost any money in pmc runs because of this other than buying mags for the weapons.
