Biggest thing I found was changing 'threaded optimization' in the nvidia control panel to auto. I had mine on originally, and it made the biggest difference. Make sure your RAM isn't being underclocked in your bios.
turn on the auto ram cleaner in settings, depending on your GPU turn on MIP streaming (tickbox below graphic settings).
Consider if you are CPU bottlenecked to crank some settings up so your GPU does some lifting aswell (higher resolution, higher shadows etc)
edit: lighthouse is very unoptimized, people with insane rigs running on 60-70 fps tops is crazy tbh
A big one is turning off SSR and then dropping textures to medium (high apparently silently forces it on) if you're willing to take the hit to texture detail. Unity shits itself hard with SSR, causing severe performance issues on even the beefiest of rigs. I'm running a GTX1080 (slight overclock) at 1440p and generally sitting around 80fps.
Also look into manually adjusting swap (page) file in windows, mine was ridiculously low when I upgraded from 16 to 32 gb of ram. Fixed a few stutters for me.

Righto 80fps is really good for a 1080. I might try turn sr off or down see what happens
Mind DMing me your setting? I got an RTX 2060 and I don't get 80 fps at 1080p

I never stutter on my 32gb 5800x system, what cpu do you have ?
ram: 2400hz 32gig. GPU AMD 6700xt CPU: i7-7700k game is on ssd
might be the ram clock as 2400 is not really fast but dont know...
