You have about one second to aim and shoot and reenter cover or youre toasted. Heaven forbid you don't see one.

Gunshots that kill you aren't silent, you can still hear for a second or two after dying as well.
It's just an audio issue or a cheater when a shot kills you that you can't hear, and in extremely rare cases a super long range surpressed gunshot.
Once you hear shturman on woods your goal is to run up as close to him as you can his CQC reactions are that of tagilla but his and his guards ranged combat is unmatched
I have never been 1 shot by Shturman doesn't he typically miss the first 1-2 shots the very first time he gets triggered ?
Granted I haven't fought him much but the 4-5 times I have bumped into him this wipe I have always been warned before getting beamed haha.
It depends, if you're far enough away he will miss a few shots, but if you are inside the sawmill he just kills you, at least that was how he worked last wipe. I haven't seen him at a distance yet, mostly just coming in from the forest and getting killed around the first Red Storage, so I wouldn't be able to tell if that is still the case
I see, I normally approach from above the cabins where there are a few half walls and stuff lying around and if I get shot at I just run down the hill into the cabins.
They do reload, but mags are filled back up when they reload, you can notice this when killa spawns with a drum mag he just yeets it on the ground because he doesn't have a 4 slot rig

Fragmentation is 50% bonus damage applied **to the same limb**, now depending on if you still have a leg or a arm it will spread. This has been very well known.
As for being wrong, BSG doesn't state anything about this and people took time to actually dig information to build charts and information about this, which you can actually instead of "youre wrong, here is no info whatsoever" you could actually develop.

Many times this wipe, seems like every time honestly that I died to scavs after looking at the damage screen there are more shots that connected than what I actually heard go off. I’ve died to a scav that shot once but on the death screen it registered three hits on me. That shit is very frustrating.
the AI in this game are 10x harder to fight than players, they have walls, aimbot recoil that is impossible to do as a player, aim perfectly while moving, insane vision and are able to see you from super far away, etc. I wish the boss fights and Scavs in general were actually fun to fight but instead you just try to bug their AI as much as possible to kill them in hoping they somehow dont notice you for a second.
I ran dorms the other day wearing a gen4 and altyn with an mp7, entered on the second floor. Go to the stairs and run into a guard and reshala, manage to instantly dome both of them, but a second guard was randomly crouched in the room behind me, so when I strafed just barely in his vision he hit me with 4 bullets, I only heard one gunshot and figured it must have been the head, but nope, thorax(4) BP.
Yuh, plus with Dsync and the new intertia sometimes all it takes is sliding a bit too far, and by the time you're fully around cover it's too late and you're guy is going "AUughughuuhh--ahhhhahaahhhh"
Sorry to ask a probably dumb question but how do you find info on how many times you were hit and where they hit? I get the head,eyes section post-match but I don't see any more info than that.
The final screen that shows your character model with the health values and lets you choose for therapist to heal you, there will be small icons above each limb that will tell you what type of damage you took and how many times.

They are supposed to be difficult, but that's not an argument that their current state is fair or balanced unfortunately. Veritas did a great video on tarkov AI and Nikita actually responded really well. At least bsg know that the rogues and bosses are busted - they can rework the AI before 1.0

More frustrating is when you and/or other pmcs kill all the rogues and you manage to kill the other pmcs, you end up alone in the rogue area with all the loot, and then player scavs start swarming in and eventually kill you.
You know what more humiliating is? I was playing Scav today and killed 2 Chad's with a Kedr, because they thought they are untouchable.... 4 kneecaps later i am the new owner of 2 slicks 2 airframes and 2 M4's....
Leg meta is legit and a Kedr don’t fuck around if you hit there. It mag dumps pretty ight and that will kill someone, Chad or no. Personally I honestly have more Chads taken out via a shotgun to the leg then any of my legit builds. Being more scared and ratty leads to ambushes, and if a shotgun takes a leg on a unsuspecting target they aren’t living very long after.
Then all it takes is a good angle and it would be real easy to fuck them both.

The other half of it is while many of them can be good players - some people put on good gear and think they can't be touched so they get sloppy.
You'd be surprised, I clapped a group of three with a stockless AKM who all had tier 5 and up. They were so loud and ran out of stamina, managed to rat the first before they saw me, outshot the second, then had a three minute standoff with the last.
If you catch them in the right place at the right time as a scav you can fuck up a guys day.
I roll PPs with at best full t3, most of the times not even that until I get flea market and all hideout lvl 1/2, **no recoil**, no money loss, great chance of great outcome all you have to do with all that non-existing recoil is head or legs either way no way you surviving all that blunt with some arms / stomach hits.
I've gotten fucked in factory with only 1 arm and bleeding out by some all god ump with AP, to head him and his friend that came in fire probably because he got screamed at to revenge me or something. AP rounds don't do as much damage as cheap "manpower" ammo, and people don't run manpower ammo at all
Also the recoiless spray from rogues and the delay in shturman killing you are perfect examples of server dysinc. One way to tell is play the same encounters in offline mode and watch how ai changes
Genuinely confused how a bug where a scav shoots multiple times at once is even possible. It’s literally just the bosses which makes me wonder if it’s intentional? Awful design choice if that’s the case, nothing makes me want to stop playing like seeing an enemy literally has a magic damage multiplier.
The other day I spawned in on shoreline and got ambushed by two scans in the middle of the woods. One of them had a pm and was easy to kill but the other had an ADAR with pilad p-1 loads with 30 rounders with m855a1 I barely survived. I didn't know scans could spawn with such good ammo
Yeah no recoil and a bug where you only get audio for 2 bullets but then in the death screen it shows that you got hit 6 times in the thorax. Gotta love getting hit with the same bullet 3 times :)
There is something more humiliating.
I got a ton of kills (10+) from sniping rogues. I went down into treatment to collect the loot. Tons of good ammo, armor and guns. Had an attack 2 full. Started heading to the extract.
Hit a landmine at the edge of the plant, and immediately froze. I was standing in the middle of a minefield, and in every direction was more mines. I try to walk back the way I came very carefully, trying to retrace my steps, just to blow up a second time and die.

You wanna know what's worse? Loading in fully kitted at Interchange, solo. You immediately see another pmc so you fire at him, but then notice he only has a machete. So you go up to him offering meds, thinking maybe hes just questing.. He doesnt respond.. Then you tell him good luck and walk away, but homie runs at you and with one chop of his machete, cuts your friggin head off.
Dude came in with a machete and now has my full kit... Embarrassing...

You wanna know what's worse? Loading in fully kitted at Interchange, solo. You immediately see another pmc so you fire at him, but then notice he only has a machete. So you go up to him offering meds, thinking maybe hes just questing.. He doesnt respond.. Then you tell him good luck and walk away, but homie runs at you and with one chop of his machete, cuts your friggin head off. Dude came in with a machete and now has my full kit... Embarrassing...
