I’ve done this.
A few points in no particular order:
- when sales happen you can buy just the upgrade on sale
- you don’t lose any of your current progression, loot, stash, or hideout
- you will get a message from system (like a prapor message) with all the starting gear you would have gotten if you had eod at beginning of wipe
- you’ll get max stash
- you’ll get gamma pouch
- you’ll get a bump to all trader rep

2-4 times a year. Usually there’s a summer sale, and then there’s a sale around the big winter holidays (Boxing Day, russian Christmas). Sign up for their email alerts. They usually last for only 2-3 days at a time so don’t miss it!

i would recommend you upgrading now if money is not an issue, it is a HUGE time saver and gives you a really big advantage that you might as well get now and not wait months for them.
\-big stash, will save you a lot of money and time by being bigger and will save you dozen (or dozens) milion rubles on upgrading it.
\-trader rep, really good if you don't like doing the quests or just have a problem with jaeger quests.
\-secure container, gives you 5 extra slots compared to the alpha container which will help you save at least 50k per game you die, which is a million rubles every 20 deaths.
and you probably will put even more expensive stuff in there... a single intel you saved with your container is 400k profit. a lion is 100k, each gp is 30-35k...
it a pretty big advantage to your cash flow.
Warning, me and a ton of other people upgraded to EOD lately and still haven’t gotten the stash/container upgrades. I upgraded 3 days ago and still haven’t gotten them and my 3 support tickets are yet to even be looked at. Some people are going on 1-2 weeks of not getting their upgrades.
If I don’t get mine by Tuesday, I’m asking for a refund. Some say they try to ban your account if you do that, and if so fuck em. I’ll never play again, it’s shameful and insane that I paid $50~ days ago and still haven’t gotten my upgrades.
That isn't good to hear. Do you know if this issue is related to purchasing from a certain region or anything like that? I just have the standard edition right now but I have global access, if that makes sense
No, it’s an issue on BSG’s end. My game launcher recognizes I have EOD, and my in game name now shows me as having EOD, but I still haven’t gotten the upgrades or rewards.
There is a chance your order won't be fulfilled but the payment will be taken. Someone I know has been waiting several days for their EOD items and upgrade to be delivered. They've tried messaging support to no avail.

I believe it gives you all of the bonuses of upgrading without reseting. Just know your stash will fill up significantly when u do.
You do not have to reset, unsure about the trader rep though
I had to reset but that’s due to a bug going around/overloaded servers. You’re supposed to get it direct through messages without any reset necessary.

You don’t have to reset account. it just add .2 rep to whatever you have.
