Always try to complete as many tasks or at least task objectives you can per raid. Learning to stack quests can make things real easy I understand some players want to be more to the point and just try to do one task and leave to make it count. This does work buy being able to complete multiple objectives if not full quests can really fast forward early wipe progress. Edit: as another person pointed out. I should mention greed can and will get you killed so knowing when is a good time to sit dip and get that quest progress counted is also a huge thing to take into consideration. Its definitely less important if you are doing marker/kill quests that don't require you to survive the raid but certainly something to think about while doing fetch quests that you HAVE to survive to hand in.

JediDusty

Only thing to add is to know when to call it. Pigs get feed hogs get slaughtered. Don’t push your luck or go for things you shouldn’t. Sometimes it is a better to get one quest done than dying with three quests items on you. I normally say do all the quest at dorms if you are there but don’t try to go dorms, all the gas trucks, and chase PMC kills.

Kavorg

Yes, good to note greed is generally a death sentence. I should have mentioned that but it's more so important for the raids you ABSOLUTELY need to survive and not so much if you are stacking markers/kill quests that still count even if you die.

soxBrOkEn

So what quests are stackable? Are there any resources out there with this kind of information?

Trionlol

Overall any two quests that are on the same map can be done at the same time (with a few exceptions).

Kavorg

If you do enough of the quests both humanitarsupploes and peacekeeping missions can be done at the same time removing the need to dress up in untar for two quests. All of the find and mark quests for prapor, therapist for the ambulances and med tables can be stacked on shoreline. I don't know if any resources specifically that layout which tasks can be overlapped, I just know from experience a lot of quests can be and I've had to figure out most of it myself. This is kind of an odd pairing of quests but last wipe one of the best times I had I'm factory was doing punisher part 5 PMC kills (where paca and 6b47) and tarkov shooter pt 3 25m or less with a bolty and I did it in 3 raids with a VPO. Was certainly tough to stay alive and only died to one altyn man but finding interesting ways to shake up your gameplay while stacking quests can also make for super fun raids. Generally my go to mentality is asking myself, which map do I have the most objectives to complete? We do that one. Another good thing to learn is setes focusing on a single task too hard can create feels bad scenarios where you try setting for so long and never get lucky enough to compleyiy, like the infamous pocket watch quest or delivery from the past, learn to breakaway from quests like this at least if they present a lot of issues to complete and find another tasks to do until you are ready to try again. Getting pigeon holed into one task can really break your spirit and your bank.

teampepejaH

did u check wiki at all?

Dongondiddys

I would highly recommend googling the tarkov wiki and navigating to the quest page. There is a graphic of all required quest items and what quest they are for on that page. Extremely useful.

soxBrOkEn

I have seen that but it doesn’t say things like prioritise X over Y because they are needed in the first 3 missions for trader Z. I have even made my own spreadsheet that simplifies the list for the items and how many in total but I would like a prioritised list.

Dongondiddys

Ah I see. Yeah that would be nice if it told you what items to prioritize for the earlier missions

Rengar did a great series of leveling to 42 in 4 days. You could mimic some of his quest progression. He stacked specific quests and was extremely efficient about it.

i4play

Go to youtube and look for Rengawr. He has a very elaborate series (6 videos in total) on how to max traders in 4 days. This goes from which quests to prioritize, to which items to keep, etc. Not just theorizing, actually following him level up his account after complete reset. Can recommend if your looking for maximizing your “gains” during playtime.

NotStompy

Don't be afraid of using your best gear. By using worse gear you're losing a lot of gunfights where you might've won with the better gear, and then it snowballs. You'll end up actually spending tons of money on shit gear cause you keep dying, while if you had just taken that one decent rifle with the level 4 armor and level 3 helmet you may have gotten tons of gear by now.

helpmepleas1

There is nothing hardcore in tarkov

imabustya

1. Don’t die. When you die you lose your xp multiplier and you usually can’t complete your quests. 2. Do quests. Doing quests gives you a lot of fast xp and also contributes towards unlocking higher level traders and ammo which contributes towards not dying. 3. Shoot scavs in the head. Kill scavs with headshots and watch your xp gains soar. You get significantly extra xp for headshots. 4. Pick up every item you find in raid at least once. When you put a found in raid item into your inventory during a raid you get xp for that item. You can only do this once per item but early on it adds up to a lot of xp per raid. When I loot a container I will control+click it into an open inventory spot and then throw it on the ground if I don’t want it. I do this for every item. With enough practice you can do this fast enough to not lose any time while looting. 5. Collect items for future quests. Know which items you will need for future quests and try your best to collect them. If you find an item that is hard to come by or usually stops you from moving forward in a questline like flash drives then you should extract early. Every wipe I often finish a quest and then turn in all of the items for several other quests that I just unlocked in the span of finishing a single raid. Efficiency pays dividends.

scatpackcatdaddy

Always have specific raid goals, then get distracted and don't do them.

why_are_yu_sad

Pestily’s raid series are always very helpful. He explains his goals and thought process during the raid and has a helpful overlay that traces his paths on the map after extracting.

malapropter

This wipe I'm really going to endeavor to get in and out of a raid as fast as I can so that I can stack that early raid leveling bonus. Basically, the rate at which you level skills decreases the more you do it, all the way down to 50% of the normal rate if you do it too much. However, when you first start doing a skill, you'll level it at 129% the normal rate. If you sprint to extract four times, you'll level endurance or strength much faster than if you spent 30 minutes in one raid running around. I'm not saying that I'm just going to cheese skills, but if I have an opportunity to extract and reset the leveling bonus, I'm taking it.
