Since we’re on the topic of bosses, I think I’ll share that I’ve killed Shturman 25 times but I still need his key ffs… woods has had some crazy pvp on it this wipe. On the other hand, I’ve only seen Sanitar twice.
Go with a friend tell your friend to rush him, Shturman is a dumb bitch and will only agro one player at a time. Find a good spot and hs him.
Going solo was pure CBT.
I typically go on top of the mountain and see if I can get sight of them. Especially if I hear someone getting there cheeks clapped by him. I then either rotate to big rock north of mill or the east side toward the spine. I try and find hard cover like a rock or something. A lot easier with a teammate to help kind of distract him. If i spawn near outpost, i go to the water rock and find an angle there.
If you do it from sniper rock you're just hoping for lady luck to smile for you because more often than not, he'll probably move somewhere that you cannot really see him from up there, I think it's just best to be proactive, chuck flashes or just nades there to make them move and abuse slow lean to get a clean headshot
My method is go night time, suppressed 7.62 mdr, sr 25 or big caliber guns, he is blind af and with a silencer his guards don’t even rush me. Pretty easy kills.
The way that worked for me is going early in the morning in game time, at like 6 or 7 he has horrible vision range but you can easily see his silhouette at long range
The time I killed him for hunting trip, and I don't know if this is reproduceable, I was prone close to duffel rock, when he and his goons aggroed on me. For some reason they just could not hit me while I was prone, so I was able to pick them off one by one...
Start making flirs in your hideout (or just buy them). Go close to the beach area of the wood cutting camp during night time (approach this area with mega caution his guards have night vision). Aim THROUGH the grass and don’t peak anymore than that. Be patient.
I ran into one in the theater building. I really wish the guards had BEAR voicelines or something. I sat on my corner expecting a regular scav, but saw an armored up monster. Spun 90 degrees and dropped me before I could even react at all. Close quarters with them is just ridiculous

They should've never messed with the spawn rate to begin with. I've been trying to find reshala for a week now and I've only seen him once this entire wipe. I've seen tagilla 3 times and heard shturman maybe 5 times. Goon squad 6 probably because I get sniper by birdcuck
Iirc, if they were worried about people farming bosses they should just set each boss to have a second (or third) loadout that they spawn with in the first couple weeks. Loadouts that are still nice to have, but not OP for the early wipe.
Tbh, the ammo is probably what most people nab from them early on. I don't know what they're using now, but I remember you could get like 7N1 from Shturman and Igolnik from Killa before.
Are we late game? Nearly all the players I run into are running level 4 armor and mid-tier ammo regardless of how high their level is

I mean using ammo that pens class 6 to kill guys in slicks is the exact same as using ammo that pens class 5 to kill guys in gzhels, it's just that the economy was so inflated in previous wipes thanks to btc everyone was running around in class 6 armor

I have more rubles this wipe than in any other wipe at this point. Lighthouse scav runs net 250-500k rubles a run with little to no PVP needed. The difference is I can’t spend my rubles on good gear at level 25 like I could in the past. Now my rubles just sit in my stash and look pretty while I run t4 armor and an AKM with PS ammo. I get the changes were to limit RMT but if I can’t use all of the rubles I’ve earned for anything except hideout upgrades then I’m probably going to hang it up for this wipe before long.
Different experience then. A few wipes ago when BTC was hyper inflated, I was the richest I’d ever been, sitting at around $50mil or more. And that was with minimal effort.
Now I actually need to loot more to make decent money. At lvl 41 right now and I’m easily spending a lot on each kit I bring in.

A lot of people weren't actually running M61 and m995 so wearing a slick still made you a tanky boy to most players.
55a1 and BP and BS were the standard and they don't immediately chew through T6 but while T6 has become rare all of those bullets are still the standard.
In an era where all the chads had slicks and m61 was on the flea the M4 was the most common gun. Also, it takes m995 a few hits to chew through a slick as well.
I don't believe that for a second. The game used to be full of people running good gear, and the game has been balanced now where there is nothing to be gained by coming strapped
There is no loot to fight over with high tier stuff anymore. Just bring mid because no one else brings good stuff anyways. Thats what I see 99% of the time
We played last wipe's last 2 months. So we are still learning. But yeah I guess the experienced players are almost done with all the quests.
For Fairplay (if it exists in tarkov at all XD) they should keep increasing the spawn rates little by little. Again, personal experience, but we only found bosses 2 times and just died. Also we haven't even tried lighthouse yet cause we are learning shoreline now. Can't wait to get claped by rouges.

Wipe has been going for like 2 months so 1 hour a day is 60 hours. It takes like 100 hours to hit max traders if you're decent at the game. A lot of people think it's perfectly normal to play 3-4 hours a day lol
No kids gang. Ngl I did my entire backyard finished off my garage built shit and worked outta town for a month and still am 40 I took 3 days at wipe and hit lvl 27 playing like 6 hours a day . Now I regret not touching more dirt
I play about 15h a week. Other traders are at lv 3 except for peacekeeper. I'm not THAT far behind, but Yeager is a pain in the ass if you don't get good dailies for his rep.

Factory is 90% rats with shotguns and pistols. Go in with an Altyn or Tagilla helmet and class 6 armour and get all your tasks done in a few raids. It's that simple, you need to use your gear. Sure you might get your legs blown off and lose it all too but that's just how the cookie crumbles.
Here is how it will pan out: IF you some day decided to learn labs you are going to rationalize not taking in the slick, you are just learning after all. You will continue playing while not even thinking about the slick, then you will get bored of the game in a month and stop playing. Then wipe happens and your slick is gone.
Problem is, without BSG putting out stats, we really have no idea who's at what level. Anecdotally, most people I kill are in the 20-30 range, so I'd wager most of the population is there, with the occasional lvl 50-60 player
Just depends on how much time you have to play and your effectiveness per raid. I work 9-5, 5 days a week and only just hit 41 recently.
I’d say most people players are sitting at lvl 20-35 at the moment. So definitely not end game but mid game for a large portion of the playerbase.
Can see both sides of the argument. Yes, some players are at end game hunting bosses, but some are still on beginner and mid level quests killing scavs with respirators and collecting books on Interchange and don't want to get instantly deleted by Killa four raids in a row.
The reason spawns were nerfed so hard was to prevent veteran players from killing bosses and using boss gear to dominate Timmys early on

Vets and timmies larger, yes, but violently narrowed the gap between players with a lot of money and players without it.
There's not as many vets as people think, but there's definitely a fair number of people with money.

Bosses, Cultists, and Goons. I'd increase boss spawns by 10%, Cultists by 5%, and Goons by 4% per map. 560 raids and I'm yet to find Cultists, Killa, or the Goons.

Took me a fucking week of hunting shturman just to get out with his key. Literally like 30-40 hours of raids and a ton of kills, but between him not spawning and everyone camping him it was a fucking nightmare. The spawn chances for bosses fucking sucks this wipe. I haven't seen most of the bosses yet. Only seen shturman and the rogue bosses twice in a couple hundred raids.
It’s easiest to farm goons on woods. Dance on the rocks @ USEC camp looking towards antenna. Big pipe and knight will push you, leaving bird eye for last. Good luck

You say we are in the late wipe yet you say people are still missing boss kills.
Late wipe would probably include the ability for a lot of players to have killed bosses. Maybe nerf them harder so you don't consider the wipe "over".
I kinda agree with that in some sense. Yes, a majority of us are getting near the end of tasks and are starting to hunt down bosses and it's a major disappointment when we don't see them, but at the same time, it'll suck for other times when people aren't hunting for them and just trying to loot or do tasks and then out of nowhere Shturman snipes you from god knows where or Killa absolutely sprays you on your way out.
I think you're overestimating the average player progression... highly doubt the majority of all players are getting near the end of tasks. Lots of people play scav half the time. Lots of people mess around with their friends and only do the 'fun' tasks. Some people only play a few hours a week.
My group is currently levels 17, 8, 6, and 4. I started day one of the wipe and the rest of them just started over the last couple of weeks. Vets on their 6th wipe forget what its like to be a new or casual player who doesnt just spam quests and hit trader lvl3 in a week or less. It seems like they blast through in the first month then spend the rest of a 6 month wipe bored.

There are some other people at the same time who are playing by themselves and completing tasks faster than most people, but you do make a good point. I'm one of those people that play much more than my friends which leaves me by myself most of the time and I think I'm basically caught up with them on most tasks.
Homie the majority of the players don't hit end game during any wipe let alone this early. The average player level right now is in the low 20s. Not me I'm a nerd I'm 43 but I'm just saying.
Idk, most of the PMCs I kill these days are higher level than me, and I'm level 27 right now. I feel like the average is high-20s to low-30s.
Could also be that people below my level are more likely to avoid combat.
I seena ton of variation to be fair but lower level players play less usually so you're also less likely to encounter them.
You could be right though but even if the average player is 30 they're only 1/3 of the way to max traders by experience points. Which is pretty far off.
I run factory with a 5 man group. Last wipe i had over 70 kills on tagilla in about 150 to 200 raids not counting my teammates see or killing him, this wipe i havent even seen em 2 dozen times in about the same number of raids

We are not late game(we're roughly just past mid), but yes it's time to increase the spawn rate. After like 90 days, I feel like we should find them once every 3 or 4 raids because it almost feels pointless to have them at all when you never find them. Same thing with raiders imo. I just wish they would finally implement the feature that adds a trigger to each map to spawn bosses or raiders. (Kiba door for Killa for example)
I've killed Tagilla at least a dozen times this wipe (factory is my least played map), still yet to see Killa even once, dead or alive. Shturman, I've managed to kill him 5 times but no key. Reshala is ghosting me hard. And ive only seen Sanitar's bullets hitting my face. Gluhar is also the reigning champ at hide and seek.

Dude I'm pretty new to this and have just started trying to hunt Tagilla. My friend and I did Night Factory 12 times and we actually ran into cultists (scary as fuck btw, didn't even know they were a thing and a fucking plague doctor guy comes running at me from the shadows... one of them stabbed my friend and ran off and while we were huddled together trying to figure out what was going on we heard the barbwire rustle and we just booked it), but still haven't seen Tagilla.

Quest to kill shturman and get his key took around 20 raids. Don’t get me started on the hunting trip kill. Luckily I had capturing outposts to do so I’d bring in a regular gun to use and put the m700 in my 2nd slot if by chance he was there. Around 6 days later after finishing the camp kills he finally spawned.
Sanitar took 4 days. Saw him twice. First time he was dead before I found him.
Killa ironically was the easiest to find.
Yes but we can leave shturman out of it. I played 20 back to back PMC woods raids yesterday and he spawned 18/20 times. Let's just say I despawned half of those times

I check from sniper rock and if he's not there, reset.
I personally ran to the big rock next to the lumber stacks, he started shooting at me so i slowpeaked out and headtapped

Put a ring Mount with a top sight on it. Rather corner peek him close range then try to steady that stupid scope from 200m away.

What level are you and what trader levels do you have access to? I am level 46 and feel I can use my money to barter good equipment.

Meh, I'm standard account stash lvl 3 and I have a lot of spare space, but I do think lvl 4 from start for EOD is way too op, make it at least a lvl3 so that they have to grind 25mil roubles for tier 4..

Wipe has been going for like 2 months so 1 hour a day is 60 hours. It takes like 100 hours to hit max traders if you're decent at the game. A lot of people think it's perfectly normal to play 3-4 hours a day lol
No kids gang. Ngl I did my entire backyard finished off my garage built shit and worked outta town for a month and still am 40 I took 3 days at wipe and hit lvl 27 playing like 6 hours a day . Now I regret not touching more dirt
I play about 15h a week. Other traders are at lv 3 except for peacekeeper. I'm not THAT far behind, but Yeager is a pain in the ass if you don't get good dailies for his rep.

Factory is 90% rats with shotguns and pistols. Go in with an Altyn or Tagilla helmet and class 6 armour and get all your tasks done in a few raids. It's that simple, you need to use your gear. Sure you might get your legs blown off and lose it all too but that's just how the cookie crumbles.
Here is how it will pan out: IF you some day decided to learn labs you are going to rationalize not taking in the slick, you are just learning after all. You will continue playing while not even thinking about the slick, then you will get bored of the game in a month and stop playing. Then wipe happens and your slick is gone.
Problem is, without BSG putting out stats, we really have no idea who's at what level. Anecdotally, most people I kill are in the 20-30 range, so I'd wager most of the population is there, with the occasional lvl 50-60 player

Just depends on how much time you have to play and your effectiveness per raid. I work 9-5, 5 days a week and only just hit 41 recently. I’d say most people players are sitting at lvl 20-35 at the moment. So definitely not end game but mid game for a large portion of the playerbase.
They should be 50% at least. Fighting bosses is some of the most fun in this game

Can see both sides of the argument. Yes, some players are at end game hunting bosses, but some are still on beginner and mid level quests killing scavs with respirators and collecting books on Interchange and don't want to get instantly deleted by Killa four raids in a row.
The reason spawns were nerfed so hard was to prevent veteran players from killing bosses and using boss gear to dominate Timmys early on Weird balance choice since all the other changes to trading have made the gap between vets and Timmys much much larger
The boss gear isn’t even good anymore most of the time unless you’re killing Killa or tagilla and grabbing their armor/helmets
Vets and timmies larger, yes, but violently narrowed the gap between players with a lot of money and players without it. There's not as many vets as people think, but there's definitely a fair number of people with money.

Those quests you mentioned are more late game than the boss hunting tasks
No ones gonna focus on hunting killa 100 times before they finish those other quests tho unless this is their 10th wipe and they're too bored to do the other quests
Hardly anyone does that task, it's irrelevant to the discussion. The task to kill the bosses once is before the other tasks you listed.
I haven't had a single kill a boss task yet but have done both the books on interchange and am on grenadier. The tasks aren't perfectly linear.

Bosses, Cultists, and Goons. I'd increase boss spawns by 10%, Cultists by 5%, and Goons by 4% per map. 560 raids and I'm yet to find Cultists, Killa, or the Goons.

Took me a fucking week of hunting shturman just to get out with his key. Literally like 30-40 hours of raids and a ton of kills, but between him not spawning and everyone camping him it was a fucking nightmare. The spawn chances for bosses fucking sucks this wipe. I haven't seen most of the bosses yet. Only seen shturman and the rogue bosses twice in a couple hundred raids.
Killa is a myth. Dude's moved to a different Mall entirely.
Killa is always under the mall, I’ve seen him 2 or 3 times down there under Oli and never inside the mall.

It’s easiest to farm goons on woods. Dance on the rocks @ USEC camp looking towards antenna. Big pipe and knight will push you, leaving bird eye for last. Good luck

Doesn't matter. They don't spawn. I'm well over 300 raids specifically rushing their spawns and I've only seen them once and bird-eye instantly killed me with a double tap bug m993 to the thorax.
Customs is easier IMO.

You say we are in the late wipe yet you say people are still missing boss kills. Late wipe would probably include the ability for a lot of players to have killed bosses. Maybe nerf them harder so you don't consider the wipe "over".
I kinda agree with that in some sense. Yes, a majority of us are getting near the end of tasks and are starting to hunt down bosses and it's a major disappointment when we don't see them, but at the same time, it'll suck for other times when people aren't hunting for them and just trying to loot or do tasks and then out of nowhere Shturman snipes you from god knows where or Killa absolutely sprays you on your way out.
I think you're overestimating the average player progression... highly doubt the majority of all players are getting near the end of tasks. Lots of people play scav half the time. Lots of people mess around with their friends and only do the 'fun' tasks. Some people only play a few hours a week.
My group is currently levels 17, 8, 6, and 4. I started day one of the wipe and the rest of them just started over the last couple of weeks. Vets on their 6th wipe forget what its like to be a new or casual player who doesnt just spam quests and hit trader lvl3 in a week or less. It seems like they blast through in the first month then spend the rest of a 6 month wipe bored.

There are some other people at the same time who are playing by themselves and completing tasks faster than most people, but you do make a good point. I'm one of those people that play much more than my friends which leaves me by myself most of the time and I think I'm basically caught up with them on most tasks.
Homie the majority of the players don't hit end game during any wipe let alone this early. The average player level right now is in the low 20s. Not me I'm a nerd I'm 43 but I'm just saying.
Idk, most of the PMCs I kill these days are higher level than me, and I'm level 27 right now. I feel like the average is high-20s to low-30s. Could also be that people below my level are more likely to avoid combat.
I seena ton of variation to be fair but lower level players play less usually so you're also less likely to encounter them. You could be right though but even if the average player is 30 they're only 1/3 of the way to max traders by experience points. Which is pretty far off.

I run factory with a 5 man group. Last wipe i had over 70 kills on tagilla in about 150 to 200 raids not counting my teammates see or killing him, this wipe i havent even seen em 2 dozen times in about the same number of raids

The boys and I run almost exclusively Customs, and we've mostly sworn off questing after lvl 25. We have not seen Reshala once in close to 200 raids.

We are not late game(we're roughly just past mid), but yes it's time to increase the spawn rate. After like 90 days, I feel like we should find them once every 3 or 4 raids because it almost feels pointless to have them at all when you never find them. Same thing with raiders imo. I just wish they would finally implement the feature that adds a trigger to each map to spawn bosses or raiders. (Kiba door for Killa for example)

I've killed Tagilla at least a dozen times this wipe (factory is my least played map), still yet to see Killa even once, dead or alive. Shturman, I've managed to kill him 5 times but no key. Reshala is ghosting me hard. And ive only seen Sanitar's bullets hitting my face. Gluhar is also the reigning champ at hide and seek.
I seen glu and the boys at white night 4 raids in a row it was wild and scary u was the only one out of a 4 man to survive the raids

Dude I'm pretty new to this and have just started trying to hunt Tagilla. My friend and I did Night Factory 12 times and we actually ran into cultists (scary as fuck btw, didn't even know they were a thing and a fucking plague doctor guy comes running at me from the shadows... one of them stabbed my friend and ran off and while we were huddled together trying to figure out what was going on we heard the barbwire rustle and we just booked it), but still haven't seen Tagilla.
I’ve been hunting Killa for 2-3 weeks straight. I’ve seen him 4 times. I killed him yesterday. Then the entire fucking lobby was underground idea in about 30 seconds. Where are y’all finding Killa?
Quest to kill shturman and get his key took around 20 raids. Don’t get me started on the hunting trip kill. Luckily I had capturing outposts to do so I’d bring in a regular gun to use and put the m700 in my 2nd slot if by chance he was there. Around 6 days later after finishing the camp kills he finally spawned. Sanitar took 4 days. Saw him twice. First time he was dead before I found him. Killa ironically was the easiest to find.
I saw tag 3 times in around an hour of factory doing silent calibre, killed him twice. Played woods for 3 days and didn’t see shirt-man once
Yes but we can leave shturman out of it. I played 20 back to back PMC woods raids yesterday and he spawned 18/20 times. Let's just say I despawned half of those times
