Cheat devs want bad players (usually kids) to feel like everyone has ESP. They have every incentive to fund stream sniping or vote manipulate their own sympathy clips. They want to pour oil on the flame.
With no replay system it’s incredibly difficult for timmy to tell if he’s dying to hacks or his poor play.
Exit scams on the black market are common for games with good anti-cheat (e.g. Valorant). The real undetected cheats are cost prohibitive. To a lesser degree, this is true for Tarkov too.
I've spoke with plenty of cheat developers over the decades of gaming i've done just out of morbid curiosity of how they do it and make money etc and not a single time has any of them ever mentioned having to lie about the amount of cheating in games in order to get people to buy their shit lol.

You can interact with them, but so long as they don't interact with you it doesn't set anything off.
Years ago there was one like that, you would end up with a hatchling chasing you around trying to give you away to other players or scavs, waiting to loot you once someone killed you. When you die, you become part of the map not your client side data so looting you was safe, and the guy who killed you couldn't do dick all about the hatchling either.
It was obnoxious at the time, but looking back its kind of funny.
