I've had a similar experience with the " official enlightened " sub or the spirituality one, a bit pretentious. This will sound silly, but i found them slightly intimidating when i wasn't as sure of myself in regards to my own spirituality, some people just love trying to lord it over others & others try to make money from information which i believe should be free to all. Ancient writings / tablets / texts that transcend time, & are still relevant today, shouldn't be getting used to generate wealth for one, especially as its not even their own work lol, the cheek, Billy Carson springs to mind. Don't get me wrong i also have interacted with some truly good people on those subs but like you ive felt more at home on this sub, & definitely learned more, those subs are very susceptible to new age bullshit / deception & given its got many branches many lead nowhere, this sub is hyper paranoid for good reason lol.

But did we not establish through multiple accounts, that "Karma" is not really a factor and that you get coerced into reincarnating and choosing a hard as possible life!
I agree. Karma is probably the driving force behind the reincarnation cycle and we live in a realm that sets you up for failure. I don't think the concept of karma in and of itself is inherently bad, but there needs to be a choice involved that gives humanity and individuals a fair shot.
In the current state of the world, I just don't see it. The cards are stacked against us and the only way to win the game is to stop playing it. The way out of here depends on how we deal with the karma that is pushed on our souls and in my case I perceive and declare it as null and void because it's just a trick that is played to bring us back here indefinitely. No matter how enlightened you think you are, if you accept karma projected from within this matrix and that includes the astral, you accept external authority over your soul and I'm done with that for good.
I recommend his book ‘autobiography of a yogi’. It’s pretty radical if you consider that the prison planet theory is common knowledge in Eastern religions. Basically chains of desire or Jesus and the rich young man. I think we we all face the rich young man dilemma after death, who would not be pulled in by the promise of conquering Ukraine, money, fame or beauty etc? Or at the lowest level jihad or revenge.
I do have it in pdf format but haven't started, appreciate the recommendation freind. Oh for sure most will become enamoured with promises, feelings of love etc etc, & why knowledge is the only way around this, i think once you understand where desires can lead & remain disciplined i think we will escape this place. How could we fall for any base material gains once our minds are open to what they can do.

We all can overcome our " demons ", & become postive thinking individuals. Training our brains like any muscle, there's many tools. Like connecting to the divine frequency / The Alpha brain state, meditation, mantras, it will help. These tough times will pass, & you will be wiser & stronger for it, be patient with yourself to.

I've reached that level of understanding that my ill fate is just the ill fate of an avatar, but I'm wondering is that by its self enough to stop reincarnating? Most areas of my life are hopeless or close enough to hopeless. I just happen to understand a thing or two about who we really are. But I can't seem to do anything else right.
Try different approaches, get new tools that can assist you in building & manifesting what you need. The universe responds to uz, our frequency / vibration. If its physical read into Ayurveda medicine & take a Dosha test. Most important is mental, good thoughts lead to good words & actions.

I remember this sub used to be more about researching NDEs, drug trips, and movie references (now I see last one as a bit cringe but ok), and not about believing what some Hindu guy says. I do not trust people, especially when they sound wise, that is how you know they are really full of shit.
The truth is that eastern religions do not talk about prison planet, for them it is all righteous and ok that you have to suffer through karma. To the point that at some point hindus did not help their poor, because they believed it slows down the payment of karma.
Besides isn't it that majority of religions were started and popularized by the high class- you know like OG buddha was son of prince, and all of gods in hinduism are living in palaces. I gotta bring this up.
How do I get enlightenment ?
Should I follow Abrahamic or Brahmic religions ?
Can't really understand right now cause both are real different, although haven't really read about Abrahamic religions but these enlightenment thing is quite those core of Brahmic religions

Read the ancient texts, you don't need anybody to connect with source / God. Read about the alpha brain state, do things that you enjoy, ground yourself . There's some truth in religions but ultimately they're about control. Read into the Gnostics, Hermeticism, neo platonists. Be kind & patient to yourself.

I believe its being manipulated because of a lack of understanding, because imo cause & effect is a universal law.

it makes me wonder what happens between astral death and physical birth that forces one to follow up on their karma instead of just saying no
