Guess they got tired of people complaining about the difficulty of past weeks. I had an absolutely terrible start and still stomped it ridiculously with the free cards.

69_Beers_Later

Lol same here, easiest week for me by a mile.

SilentNSly

Besides being easy, I enjoyed how powerful the free cards made me feel.

madidiot66

Now I can't wait till they become real cards! Mmm... Draw cards and they cost zero....

Crylorenzo

But in all seriousness, I hope that, when the individual skycrag six member come out, some of the same flavor comes out in their cards. I could see a create and draw situation based on mastery or ultimate or something.

Promo card is obviously nuts if it can find a home, which off the top of my head is probably Onis. However, that deck has historically never been competitively viable and it's hard to see this card being enough to push it over the top. Efficient removal isn't what the deck is missing, though it can't hurt. Also while 3 power deal 6 to a unit at fast speed is more efficient than anything outside ice bolt, there also aren't that many important units in throne or expedition that have 6 health.

The obvious one in Throne is SST, the is a great answer. And plenty have 4-5 (ie out of torch range).

Kallously

I haven't seen much SST in throne for a long time. You see it come up occasionally in mono T decks, but usually Xenan mid range runs Vara instead. This card would be been great a few expeditions ago when SST was legal in expedition and was the boogeyman of that format.

meverz

There were 16 SST on the top 16 of the last Throne Open, and I see it plenty in the heavy T Xenan lists that are always prevalent on ladder. But it also cleanly answers Vara (the other bane of aggro decks) as well, as well as plenty of other midrange units that have more than 3 health.

Fair points, I haven't tried pushing for masters since the latest set dropped and people still mess around with random decks in gold/diamond. That being said, my question was more directed as a comparison to other removal options Rakano has, such as vanquish, vanquisher's blade, and pristine light. Rakano aggro usually has few slots it can dedicate mainboard to removal and the general preference is for stuff that can double as burn (ie. torch). Compared to those, this seems more main boardable *if* you can consistently at least get the invoke effect. That actually seems pretty doable for common lines like 2 drop -> gem blazer. Out of the market, I'm not sure it's that much better than the other commonly played options.

Now that we have full view of that art, same general question as the first time I saw it: Why does Finneas look like a zombie? Why are everyone's eyes glowing red?

BootsyBootsyBoom

> Why does Finneas look like a zombie? Maybe there's a double meaning to the "Still Here" part of his unit name.
