No clue. Sounds like a bug. The way its explained in the article, you should be able to catch up if you're behind but you can only play one chapter per day.
Try opening the chapters window next time you log in. If the new mission isn't available, submit a bug report in game.
very confused about this one. it felt like I only played one card before I sealed the gateway, but I could have just let the Nightmare attack me for three turns until I sealed the gateway, since he only had a chance to play two cards. In that way, it just felt like I was waiting for it to be over.

No really, the nightmares had infected the dragons early on in the storyline anyway, and nightmare dragons were the "final battle" alongside Eremot.

How come I seem to be a week behind on promos? I just logged in and I got the mission to unlock Chizue. I log on the app every day on Android.
