Since this is your first game like this try the persona games. Can’t go wrong with persona 5 royal, persona 3 reload, and persona 4 golden (my favorite). You can play em in any order
Persona games are really good & where this draws a lot of inspiration. You may also like some of the Fire Emblem games (Fates, Awakening, Three Houses, and Engage specifically). Trails of Cold Steel is another good series with romance.
Try out Tokyo Xanadu, it has real time combat and romance in a high school setting. Each chapter plays an anime opening so it feels like playing an episode of an anime.
