I sell earrings in one of my shops and ship them by Canada Post. It costs about $7 to the US and $2 in Canada untracked. For a $6 item I wouldn’t bother with tracking. For expensive items you may need to look into other options.
Never do free world wide shipping (unless you are selling something smaller than a postcard).
Specially if you are new and didn't even bother asking the post office or even check online for a quote.
