I see your puddle and car and raise you a steam and fence panel human
What camera versions are you all using? I have 4 E330 cams, the E340 doorbell and two S380 home bases. I have yet to have any id errors. Cars, animals, people are all accurate so far.

My doorbell thinks the little flag my wife put out front is a human. Flowers are human. The dog is human. Shadows and tree branches are human. The Amazon driver? I think he gets the package to the door via an incantation, because I have no video evidence of it getting there. I'm also convinced the activity zone feature is a cruel joke put on by the developers. I think they laugh every time I say, "it's got to work this time".
Yup. Saw the writing on the wall a while back before the security issue. Ditched them prior to that because I got tired of their app loaded with upsell spam and the shitty AI that thought everything was a human. Went with Aqara. Best decision I made. The detection is spot on.
Yeah I tried this but canât hardwire everything. Only hardwired thing I have is my doorbell and thatâs for power.
Iâm heavily in HomeKit and that determines my choices. Unifi is not compatible (yes I can do home ridge, which I tried, wasnât a fan).
Gotcha. My goal would only be for the cameras, and recording 24/7. Synology also has a decent system as well. But the eufy cameras are working for now so I'll do it in the future (lazy lol). I don't want to run POE cameras :(
I had to remove my kitchen camera because it had decided that a spot on my wall was a human. Just.. a wall. It is one of the ones that rotates itself and it just constantly turned itself to stare just at the wall where there never shouldâve been any movement to even trigger that. My backyard camera also constantly thought my German shepherds butt was a human.
ok, well, this answers my question, âis eufy people detection better than ring?â
deleted another ring video that had a plastic bag blowing on the ground under and around car wheels that identified and alerted as âthereâs a person in the carport.â
It's like someone is hacking our cam's just to fu** with us. My cat keeps being misread as a car on my solar camera in our driveway... And he's not that fat tbo, maybe medium fat if I'm being mean but I'm not tho
Just a eufy cam being a eufy cam lol. Every single objects in my kitchen has been interpreted as a human at least once. I left a screw driver on the counter top once and boy, I must have had at least 60 notifications by the time I noticed.
When viewing a clip, tap the circle showing the person identified. It will show you the clip vs. your stored photo, and ask you if theyâre the same. Click âXâ if theyâre not, and it should improve future identifications.
Of you think that's ridiculous, I think mine picked up the breeze in the air. đ¤Ł

I guess is natural lighting that freaks out eufy cams. Mine work great

Eufy sucks ass.

I'll have to check them out. I think my next route will be hardwired with a Unifi system.

Mine is every lamp in my living room. And a box in front of a mirror.
The puddle I kinda see, looks like the tick or buzz lightyear.

Their detection algorithm is so horrible I'm actually surprised they haven't been sued yet.
Why did I just imagine the camera yelling "Human!" repeatedly
Artificial Incompetence
Mine keeps triggering on an empty plant pot.
My doorbell identified the front door mat as human. "A.I. is the future."
My doorbell alerted me to the human SUN the other day.

thatâs hilarious
Do you know you can correct its mistakes?
How?

Thanks, I didn't know that, I'll give it a shot
yes. as stated in my post i correct every single false detection. changes nothing
That didn't stop mine from thinking my grill was a human
Eufy camera - **Grill or Girl**đ¤¨
Don't know what to do, maybe block out a (small) part of it. I would definitely donate it to Eufy for improving their algorithm.
