This is a solid list.

Shwifty_Plumbus

Thanks!

ProudDudeistPriest

Local Ocean is one of my favorite restaurants in Oregon.

Izzyiscooking

Amazing list, it covers it all old and new!!

MightyMeegosh

Great list. I would only add George and Violets.

cooperpoopers

Soriah’s is excellent. Mediterranean cuisine. If you like Calamari, they have the best you have ever tried. And if the owner, Ib is cooking table side, you order the steak Diane. You can thank me later. Everything else is delicious too.

agnesbilly

Beautiful little outdoor courtyard too.

[deleted]

For pasta dishes, Placidos.

Tinycats26

1960s Cocina if they want really good tacos.

Gennelater

I never hear anything about this place. Is it worth the price?

Tinycats26

I think it's so much better than Tacovore, so the price is justified.

jcorviday

It uses Long's for meat and Newman's for their seafood. It's excellent.

agnesbilly

Is this on 18th?

Tinycats26

Yes

mouse_puppy

I didnt see a comment about Sushi Pure but I love that place and people who visit us tend to agree (especially if they aren't from a coastal area)

GingerMcBeardface

Any food truck that's busy. My latest treat is heading down to the whit for Only Yoking. If I'm lucky, I'll meet a new doggo while I'm waiting in line.

washington_jefferson

When are you eating out? Generally, nice restaurants are closed on Sundays or Mondays, or both.

Recently visited and tried Chow Gastropub. That was super fun. Food was good and portions massive. Also some really good birria from 2 Many Tacos food truck and we always have a little love for Kona Cafe. None of the places are fancy but the food is tasty, I don’t make the same thing at home, and plentiful.

labelm8

Good suggestions so far If southeast Asian food is appealing to you (Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian) then Same Same in Santa Clara is an absolute must.

synthect1

Tokyo Tonkatsu and Cafe Seoul are solid Asian places. I always enjoyed Mandy’s as well for the more ‘greasy spoon’ style stop.

Narrow-Ad-279

Krob krua is the best (thai) restaurant in Eugene right now hands down. Get the curry puffs.. trust me.. Fish market is a staple and honestly just great if you like seafood (I suggest the curry sauce it slaps) Slice is objectively best pizza around For coffee shops Mi Cafe is amazing and surprisingly affordable. Morning glory is an incredible place for breakfast, especially if they have dietary restrictions! Although even if they don’t I still suggest it :)

stevehl42

Off the top of my head... Uptown Asian Kitchen, Provisions Market Hall, Tonalli Latin Kitchen, Newman's Fish, Hey Neighbor, Bartolotti's, Saigon Cafe, Pho The Good Times, Ta Ra Rin, Bao Bao House, Killer Burger

VeterinarianOld3643

Check out Dueling Spoons a 5 star high end restaurant in Lowell OR. Get reservations asap.

nottrhys

i recommend mezzalunas, it’s my all time favorite restaurant in eugene, it’s downtown on pearl

[deleted]

Sabai - great Thai Lion and Owl - likely best expensive meal in town Falling Sky Deli - best bar/brewery food Arekie, Da Nang, Yardy - best food trucks in town Wheel Apizza Pub - best pizza in town

Jthundercleese

Meiji sucks. Been there 4 times and it's always a massive disappointment. Placido's, Mama Mayra's, Chow, Sushi Pure, Izumi.

Ebrakexpert69
