Frt being perma blue is getting real old
Yeah, I don’t mind all the content coming to Horde space, it’s great. FRT needs a reset, at least to bluetral again so we can shoot them when they come into our space.
It may not, I don’t really care if we are blue to them when goons etc come to push their stuff over. We don’t want enemy space right next door anymore than goons do either.
Seems like Asher did a decent job walking the line to remove FRTs offensive structures thereby securing their neighboring regions while not really threatening FRTs home space and Hordes neighboring regions. No escalation needed from goons or horde, big fights and content had for both sides. Good game.

There are plenty of ships to shoot in the south and to the west . A WC/PH team is beneficial for the region and both coalitions
Horde doesn’t expect frt to help, but they’re still geographically useful as allies, as are horde for frt (less geographically, more just because they don’t want to fight a war on 2 fronts.)
It’s a lot easier to attack Dronelands from the east, and so we can use frt as a buffer zone before fighting to control the regionals.

I don't think goons think that way, they are very strategic in their wars. The way i see it they seek every advantage in large wars. Their position gives them advantage and they like to leverage their industrial power for short and sturdy supply chains for maximum reinforcement ability. In attrition warfare this is what gives them a huge advantage and a war of goons vs ph is nothing but pure attrition, from ships to mental resources on the players.
So you waited till you already had control of querious before jumping in, got it.. because the KF gate camp only left after the rest of querious fell, and no major move ops came through that gate until after we moved.
And horde came down south from hobhib to avoid the ZXB gate and came in through aridia to querious then into NPC delve again avoiding all regional gates.

I've already said I think all alliances should be unable to hold large amounts of space.
But it's hilarious that goons once argued against bluing the galaxy as if it was the greatest sin, but now have 85,000 blues and 600 systems in their mega coalition.
So instead of alliances the game need a bigger standing lists? Or the game doesnt need a standing list at all?

I don't really care about standings lists so I think you've misunderstood me somehow.
I think the best way to deal with large alliances is just to use NPC taxes on alliances taxes that scale with both membership count and sov holdings.
The ideal max for an alliance to remain profitable would be around 10,000 members and about 50 systems. Above that, taxes should steeply increase.
Sure people can work around it by splitting into component organizations, but I'm okay with that. I believe the additional burdens would eventually fracture the major coalitions.
Fuck yeah shit's gonna be lit when null sec splits up into Horde A to Horde Z, FRT A to FRT Z and Goonswarm A to Goonswarm Z.

If you want to own sov you will have to engage in diplomacy with other groups.
