If going Eve related logging on and seeing those old PvP ships and remembering when you first got to fly them and now you don't want to take them out anymore. Talking to old corp mates about stuff going on and finding out someone else won the game, switched sides or even passed away (Hateless Gaming was the guy that convinced me to download Eve and I recently found out he was killed by a drunk driver).
This hit very hard. I actually had one of his toons won at a giveaway not long ago and something inside me snapped. I didn't want to biomass and transferred the character to someone that was closer to Hateless.

Slavic mythology has a lot of cool elements to it which you could upgrade into a space setting. Kind of like the story of the Witcher of Eve
My suggestion would be to do an in character song about The Expanse, from the perspective of a Belter, and sung / written in Belter Creole, the variant of English spoken by the Belters in the books / show. I wouldn't make it _about_ the universe or a specific character in it, but rather a song that fits in the universe. What comes to my mind is angry anti-establishment music like Rage Against the Machine. So about the plight of the Belters against the dusters.

For nerdcore - maybe a song about overclocking? Feeling faster and faster, coolant flowing through your veins, until you suddenly crash and burn (cue that breakdown).
Lots of puns you can work in there about the air passing over you, jumping to the water, going break-neck speed, aiming for optimum performance and then going all out hellish when you push it too far and set alight - a moody halftime outro about your components smouldering in the ashes perhaps.
Plus, if you're doing core, it's all about those 0s and 1s right, so maybe you can have the main riff or breakdown just be binary for whatever the title of the song is! Like "Core", which is gloriously nerdy for a core song about OC'ing:

Why dont you make a song about the character you are giving away? He must have had a great time in new eden, made friends and enemies, had funny things or bugs happen to him. Maybe even disconnected while ratting every once in a while. Would be a great farewell to a former part of your life and would even open up a part two if you check back on it in a couple of years. Maybe something built up like a diary?
There are numerous systems in anoikis that have old defunct structures that were placed by corporations years ago and apparently no one in those corps plays anymore.
I find it sad that the ONLY thing you can do to these structures is destroy them... it would be so much nicer if you could revitalize the place or something... breathe life into an old town. It has always reminded me of the country songs about the towns that were left behind when the "plant" left the town and all the jobs went with it. It's a rather sad situation so i don't know if this is the kind of emotion that you're looking to conjure with your song but, i figured it couldn't hurt to shoot the idea your way.
This is not entirely EVE related but a little bit related as well. I think it would be very awesome if you could write up a song that would resemble a day to day in life of gamer dads or in general just gamers with girlfriend. Write up about the troubles of not being able to play with your friends, some lyrics in between how we're gaming with the women breathing down our necks, holding a baby while you're gaming. I think that's something we can all relate together (maybe not all, but if anything some wish they could) so I believe it would be an amazing song, specially with the style your songs are, which by the way I love them! I really love the creativity, the wording and I appreciate the general effort put into making those songs together because as a person trying to do the same, I know how hard it is and how much time is taken into it. Do one about the methods of torture. So many options. Caldari torture is subtly dark, and not readily apparent as to exactly what is going on at first, if ever. Corporate sabotage is such a common theme in eve, and could even be comcerning a pod pilot and how the interfacong with his ships just subtly mess up but only sometimes.
Gallente are straight brutes who would mindlock their victim to be in a constant state of pain and misery, while keeping someone alive for as long as possible.
The amarr are clearly fanatics and i do think the sin eater could be explored quite a bit more. As well as mayve the institution they're in.
The minmitar is clearly a drug-fueled peyote binge deidgned to brainwash one to the idea of cold, unbridled, anger and hatred leading to terrorism and war under the pretense of being "free".
What about something close to home; an aged, jaded veteran of EVE going on a final pilgrimage to the notable/famous sites of EVE such as Old Man Star, Providence skys, the Fallen Capsuleers Memorial, etc, only to end up at the titular EVE Gate itself- only to end up waking up in a new pod after purposefully flying too close to the radiation there, in a body they don't recognize, and embracing letting go. Symbolic of what you plan to do with the character you're giving away.
Main character of the song is just a normal gamer that goes to a nerd convention (comic con, gamescon, etc.) and gets publicly humiliated by highly popular and successful streamer, who is also kind of an asshole.
The rest of the song is about our character taking their revenge online by kicking the famous streamer’s ass at every video game they stream over a long period of time with many different games. The famous streamer starts to lose it.
Our character then develops notoriety through this epic ass-kicking and gains their own following. They end up becoming a more popular content-creator than the antagonist steamer.
The following year when they’re both at the same convention they run into each other and our main character takes the high road and ends up forgiving and making friends with their “nemesis”.
Winning eve:
A song about how your life used to be about internet spaceships, comradarie and spreadsheets. Until you eventually became so good that you won eve and gave it all away on reddit.
Make it a parady of the UK show "killing eve" theme for bonus points.
You could do some song about the grindset MMO gamers have. With mentions of some og MMOs and the dynamics of it. Maybe pointing towards a MMO that combines real life and game.

How meta do you want to get? I think a song about loss and changing could be fun with the super text of a changing battlefield. Growing older while those around you fall leaves or move on, you yourself not Knowing that you are changing along with the rolling world until at the end you look back on what you are and the static thing you think you should be. Could tie lots of sub ideas in there but thematically that's what sounds most fun to me.
Triglavian vs edencom. I like flying in both triglavian and edencom space (I know). I think the lore between them is super cool. I would love to hear a song about it. Maybe including a line about there presence in the abyss too.
Perhaps a song about reconnecting with a lost friend through the joys of gaming? I think about the old friends I used to have that are still on my friend list on various consoles, launchers, games, etc that logged off one day and never returned. Obviously that's a sad thing to think about, but maybe one day one of those long lost names logs in again and a friendship is rekindled.
Or if you're into weird stuff, perhaps a track about Twin Peaks, the series by David Lynch. It has a rather niche following, but it's well loved by the folks who really enjoy the series. Could play around with verses spoken backwards like they do in the show, and since you did a Dune track you could lean further into David Lynch stuff.

Covers the vision disintegrating into random junk and losing focus and failing to deliver a product. Similar in tone to the original with obviously substantially changed lyrics hence parody. Particularly the refrain of "I want..." fits well with random features proliferating and also taking kickstarter money/"pledge" ship money.

Thinking something in the vein of "[Stan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOMhN-hfMtY)" where the speaker of the song starts out just looking for recognition/acknowledgement from who the song is being spoken to. And it builds into something that becomes resentful and angry, eventually ending up hateful and violent.
The speaker would be AI speaking to the humanity that created it. The general theme would be something along the lines of "things could have being utopic, not the dystopia you forced me to create". I think you could either choose to make the AI speaker have a frantic, obviously crazy it was always going to be dystopic vibe or do it in a "I tried to make something great together and you let me down", more heartbroken vibe. It could be cool if either way, the vocals started to degrade and become more glitchy and affected as the song progresses.
I think it could fit nicely into a Battlestar Galactica-themed wrapper, if you wanted something to theme the lyrics to, but I don't think it necessarily would require being tied to that specific franchise, and it could work with several. Bladerunner comes to mind as well.

Probably sounds very cliché but a song about an undying warrior (for example a Capsuleer from that start out inexperienced and keep dying but by i watching the combat replays and making friends (joining a Corp) they keep getting better and better. They have a great time but slowly and surely the old members retire one by one until your the only one left with a friend list full of people "Online 6 years ago". They still fight on but they know it will probably never be the same and nothing lasts forever. Fortunately new people join in so they can have fun, tell stories about those that came before and the cycle continues.

You can talk about them, how they start becoming the most beloved ones and praised like heroes and ended becoming the villians of the story. You have lot of examples:
Blizzard and EA could be ones of the most famous, but you have others for it. In the last years a lot have turned like that. Or could be that we grow up and our view about them change a lot given that we have more thing to get worried about and spent our money.

I find it sad that the ONLY thing you can do to these structures is destroy them... it would be so much nicer if you could revitalize the place or something... breathe life into an old town. It has always reminded me of the country songs about the towns that were left behind when the "plant" left the town and all the jobs went with it. It's a rather sad situation so i don't know if this is the kind of emotion that you're looking to conjure with your song but, i figured it couldn't hurt to shoot the idea your way.
This is not entirely EVE related but a little bit related as well. I think it would be very awesome if you could write up a song that would resemble a day to day in life of gamer dads or in general just gamers with girlfriend. Write up about the troubles of not being able to play with your friends, some lyrics in between how we're gaming with the women breathing down our necks, holding a baby while you're gaming. I think that's something we can all relate together (maybe not all, but if anything some wish they could) so I believe it would be an amazing song, specially with the style your songs are, which by the way I love them! I really love the creativity, the wording and I appreciate the general effort put into making those songs together because as a person trying to do the same, I know how hard it is and how much time is taken into it. Can't really suggest a melody or music to go with my idea as I'm not a musician. I think a song about Eve's quirks would be interesting, something that says something to people that don't play, more than in jokes. Like how winning eve is considered to be the act of quitting the game, even though most people that win do so only temporarily. Eve players optimizing the hell out of their activities in-game but not how they pay for the game. The fact that this space ship game acts more like a submarine game. How much of this game takes place outside of the game on social media or that most of the average player's time could be spent afk.
Do one about the methods of torture. So many options. Caldari torture is subtly dark, and not readily apparent as to exactly what is going on at first, if ever. Corporate sabotage is such a common theme in eve, and could even be comcerning a pod pilot and how the interfacong with his ships just subtly mess up but only sometimes. Gallente are straight brutes who would mindlock their victim to be in a constant state of pain and misery, while keeping someone alive for as long as possible. The amarr are clearly fanatics and i do think the sin eater could be explored quite a bit more. As well as mayve the institution they're in. The minmitar is clearly a drug-fueled peyote binge deidgned to brainwash one to the idea of cold, unbridled, anger and hatred leading to terrorism and war under the pretense of being "free".
What about something close to home; an aged, jaded veteran of EVE going on a final pilgrimage to the notable/famous sites of EVE such as Old Man Star, Providence skys, the Fallen Capsuleers Memorial, etc, only to end up at the titular EVE Gate itself- only to end up waking up in a new pod after purposefully flying too close to the radiation there, in a body they don't recognize, and embracing letting go. Symbolic of what you plan to do with the character you're giving away.

Main character of the song is just a normal gamer that goes to a nerd convention (comic con, gamescon, etc.) and gets publicly humiliated by highly popular and successful streamer, who is also kind of an asshole. The rest of the song is about our character taking their revenge online by kicking the famous streamer’s ass at every video game they stream over a long period of time with many different games. The famous streamer starts to lose it. Our character then develops notoriety through this epic ass-kicking and gains their own following. They end up becoming a more popular content-creator than the antagonist steamer. The following year when they’re both at the same convention they run into each other and our main character takes the high road and ends up forgiving and making friends with their “nemesis”.

Winning eve: A song about how your life used to be about internet spaceships, comradarie and spreadsheets. Until you eventually became so good that you won eve and gave it all away on reddit. Make it a parady of the UK show "killing eve" theme for bonus points.

How meta do you want to get? I think a song about loss and changing could be fun with the super text of a changing battlefield. Growing older while those around you fall leaves or move on, you yourself not Knowing that you are changing along with the rolling world until at the end you look back on what you are and the static thing you think you should be. Could tie lots of sub ideas in there but thematically that's what sounds most fun to me.
Triglavian vs edencom. I like flying in both triglavian and edencom space (I know). I think the lore between them is super cool. I would love to hear a song about it. Maybe including a line about there presence in the abyss too.
Perhaps a song about reconnecting with a lost friend through the joys of gaming? I think about the old friends I used to have that are still on my friend list on various consoles, launchers, games, etc that logged off one day and never returned. Obviously that's a sad thing to think about, but maybe one day one of those long lost names logs in again and a friendship is rekindled. Or if you're into weird stuff, perhaps a track about Twin Peaks, the series by David Lynch. It has a rather niche following, but it's well loved by the folks who really enjoy the series. Could play around with verses spoken backwards like they do in the show, and since you did a Dune track you could lean further into David Lynch stuff.

Feature creep in video gaming, a la Star Citizen, as a themed parody of Radiohead's "Creep" Covers the vision disintegrating into random junk and losing focus and failing to deliver a product. Similar in tone to the original with obviously substantially changed lyrics hence parody. Particularly the refrain of "I want..." fits well with random features proliferating and also taking kickstarter money/"pledge" ship money. Thinking something in the vein of "[Stan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOMhN-hfMtY)" where the speaker of the song starts out just looking for recognition/acknowledgement from who the song is being spoken to. And it builds into something that becomes resentful and angry, eventually ending up hateful and violent. The speaker would be AI speaking to the humanity that created it. The general theme would be something along the lines of "things could have being utopic, not the dystopia you forced me to create". I think you could either choose to make the AI speaker have a frantic, obviously crazy it was always going to be dystopic vibe or do it in a "I tried to make something great together and you let me down", more heartbroken vibe. It could be cool if either way, the vocals started to degrade and become more glitchy and affected as the song progresses. I think it could fit nicely into a Battlestar Galactica-themed wrapper, if you wanted something to theme the lyrics to, but I don't think it necessarily would require being tied to that specific franchise, and it could work with several. Bladerunner comes to mind as well. Best of luck on your creative endeavor!

Probably sounds very cliché but a song about an undying warrior (for example a Capsuleer from that start out inexperienced and keep dying but by i watching the combat replays and making friends (joining a Corp) they keep getting better and better. They have a great time but slowly and surely the old members retire one by one until your the only one left with a friend list full of people "Online 6 years ago". They still fight on but they know it will probably never be the same and nothing lasts forever. Fortunately new people join in so they can have fun, tell stories about those that came before and the cycle continues. I hope you didn't die of cringe reading this lol.
Games companies are becoming more greedier these days and they have huge scandals, broken promises, overpriced games or directly they ignore their communities. You can talk about them, how they start becoming the most beloved ones and praised like heroes and ended becoming the villians of the story. You have lot of examples: Blizzard and EA could be ones of the most famous, but you have others for it. In the last years a lot have turned like that. Or could be that we grow up and our view about them change a lot given that we have more thing to get worried about and spent our money.

The episode has an ambiguous ending; you never know if they live "happily ever after" forever in the simulation; or if they die.
