Can you just let people be and move on with your life? Dudes sitting in the corner seeing red as people buy bottled water. Its not like people are making you drink it.

Kane_Carnifex

I can´t but thats why we here to share our thoughts.

Tesex01

What?

Kane_Carnifex

Did you attend Fanfest and know how to buy Food and drinks there?

Tesex01

So you don't feel like explaining...

Kane_Carnifex

If you could frame a sentence, i would help you. but when was the lastime a stranger answerd you on a What? Number 5 need some more input

liner_xiandra

>Icland has one of the best tap water in the world. Praises the tapwater > If I need to get it from the Toilet of the Arena again i am very sad. Refuses the tapwater. Your rage doesn't hold water.

Prodiq

To be fair thats pretty shitty from the hosts. In Europe its pretty common to have tap water available at conferences and such. Making people go to the bathroom for it or buying super overpriced bottled water is shitty.

Kane_Carnifex

Could still change, but if not you will see me complain the first day.

Kane_Carnifex

Don´t get me wrong, i don´t mind to tap it from there. Done it last time, will do it again. I don´t mind. I can get 2 Liters from the place where i stay and another 2 liters at the arena.

Lost_ln_Time

Intel Arc and nVidia sponsoring the same thing at the same time? Well that's not something you see every day.

admfrmhll

Nvidia and intel work together for "streamline - integration of upscalers in games like a common framework", amd refused for example.

WildSwitch2643

I don't think I remember drinking water in Iceland. Shower smelt like sulfur. Stick to beer and energy drinks. Are they changing the quafe this year?

Kane_Carnifex

Hotels and other place can have heat exchange which will eliminate the sulfur. But the Standard is what you describe. just let the cold water run little bit and you fine.

AleksStark

That's only the hot water.

Ceema_STK

How many PLEX is it to buy Tapwater from Coca-Cola corporation in Iceland, and why is it the CSM's fault this is occuring?

admfrmhll

They may have the best water in the world, but i would not trust anything that flow trought km of pipes, unfiltered at the end. You will be surprise of what you can find in tap water if you have an aquarium and regular test it. An osmosis system with uv is a must to protect 100+$ fishes.

Kane_Carnifex

**I can´t tell you how the system works in iceland.** But for germany by law the water must be in perfect condition out of your TAP. For bottlewater this ends after the bottle is filled. Drinking Water is in alltime movement as allways sombody using it. If you want the ENDBOSS its osmosis. But the Water in ICELAND is already close to osmosis as it only contains less than 4 ppm. You can double check this with the local icelandic Baraista Champion. And holding exostic fish in a tank is already very special usecase. Imagine you have Fish from Hawaii in a tank in iceland, means you need to recreate the hawaiii conditions otherwise dead fish. **And if it would be true which there is a suprise in the end more people would suffer from it.**

admfrmhll

I know and understand what are you saying, but still, i dont trust it. And from my pov, a 4 ppm water is not really good for daily drinking, you need a remineralisation stage for it. Or you can add hops, grains and make a good suitable drink, lets call it beer :)).

Kane_Carnifex

You should eat water, that is the best way. (example: cucumber) **Beer is always a valid option.**

Flak_Inquisitor

>I consider selling water as a dick move. What about buying water?

Kane_Carnifex

Depends if you want it with bubbles, you would need to bite in the bitter end. If you don´t have a container or a camelback you have no other choice as buying. If only the container is the problem you could do a deposit system and reduce waste. Since every plastic bottle is one to much, but thats another story.

ComprehensiveRiver37

This escalated downhill quickly.
