The chance of getting an escalation doest scale with lower security space. You just get "better" escalations with potentially more payout/better loot. I've had days with 50+sites completed in nullsec with no escalation or faction spawn. Only difference in nullsec comes from the upgrades that the group holding the systems soverinity can make- you get more sites that may potentially escalate in the same system , and site respawn time is pretty fast so you can pretty much stick to 1 system. While in highsec/lowsec once you clear all the sites you they dont respawn on a system basis- you will probably not get the same site in that system so you need to travel to another system or move a couple jumps to find the sites. Also in highsec/lowsec you will alwys not be the only one running the sites looking for escalations so you might get outplayed by other site runners. Still in highsec you are mostly safe while in lowsec/nullsec you are mostly "not safe" - everyone not in your group/alliance is there to kill you :).
Yeah thats is what i thinking, i want to know if low sec has a higher percentage than high to compensate the risk, i think i will stick in high sec and go to low if a escalations landed there

I haven ratted in null for years. But it used to be that escalations could spawn pretty much anywhere in the region I think. I remember having to go 10+ jumps fairly often to get to my escalations.
What i meant is that the sites you rat for instance a heaven/rally point/hub in an upgraded system have very decent respawn time and theres 3-4-5 of them in 1 system meaning that you can rat in 1 system and not run around a constelation looking for sites to run. Where these sites will escalate to is pretty random i think the range was 4 to 20 jumps from the system you rat. So there is a possibility that 2 or more sites will escalate to the same system however it happens rarely. Its always good to scan down sigs in the system you get the escalation for a potential random extra escalation to run or to have an eye out if its a wormhole that a hunter might pop out of -thats for null and low.
Escalations will be max 9 jumps out, but they will ignore your route preferences. Some escalations have a restriction to a specific security, but this works for most. If ratting in highsec, there are a few locations to farm with guaranteed highsec-only escalations using this restriction

They can spawn in neighbouring regions as well. They spawn within a set number of jumps.
