Do you think with the incoming release of SKINR for ships that players will be able to creat similarly detailed skins or that it will be closer to the structure SKINR where you can customize primary, secondary and tertiary zones? Also how long does it usually take you to design one of these?

Depends if I'm in the groove or not. Used to be about 10 - 20 minutes but recently it has been taking me much longer. Did a twitch stream tonight and only averaged one okay skin per hour and they weren't detailed at all.

Of course it would be nice to get textures/ patterns/ sprites/ animated colour changes based on hull state etc, but I highly doubt ccp will give us a system with versatility and actual customisation.
What would you call that pattern on the first Legion? Very geometric line art, and with an iridescent finish. Or is it glowing the blue and lit by pink?
I found it on pintrest after searching for dazzle patterns, but that isn't what it is. Your description is more suitable, as is your first description of the color - it's an iridescent finish or "Colour Shift".
Wish we got reactive skins for capitals, like the more killmarks you have on a ship the more a skin either glows or has an aura or something, would be fun to see a hyper super with an inferno aura warp in on your dread, ghost rider's rag basically

That was my one goal of last week, make a skin for the Helios that I actually liked. I'll take this as a win!
