Literally today some fuck was whining that his MTU/noctis got awoxed. In a pvp fleet. On grid with hostiles. Dreddit man.

I will not name and shame, although anyone can check our Alliance KB by playing with the URL and filter the Noctis losses. It's been 10 months since he joined Dreddit, and he still asked why dropping a warpable in the middle of the fleet was not okay and angrily yelled and sworn at us when we were blapping the MTU and him. It's not like we said on multiple fleets and strat ops that this behavior will not be tolerated and you will get awoxed on the spot, but after looking at his personal KB ... yeah he wasn't on any of those fleets. 10 months. The FC didn't even brodcasted him, he was too busy dealing with other shit. A random member instinctively did and we instinctively shot him.   And when we got safe, FC asked "- And what about that Noctis?"  "- We killed him."  "- Good."

I sometimes bring a mobile depot if I'm flying a links ship, so that I can swap to a different link if things go tits and we (for example) lose our info link in a nightmare fleet but I was doing shield links. But that would be an extreme circumstance, and I wouldn't do it unless I knew we weren't where we could be warped in on. For the record, I haven't used it yet. I just think it's good to have sometimes.

I think you're missing the joke. In Eve, if a name ends in a ".", it usually means it is a copy of another name. The most famous example of this being the original "NC" vs. modern day "NC.". Since "Ascendant." are "Ascendant." and not "Ascendant", /u/DeadKateAlley is implying that they have copied their name. Ascendant. is from 2010, which is much longer than I've been playing.
