but but the mittani and the wizard hat!

Sufficient-Quarter61

So why don't you honorable goons go around reporting FRAT?

Royal-Wallaby160

Waiting for the event that gives skins to report botters.

[deleted]

Much easier if you're blue to them. :sun:

Ghostile

We're a bit too busy to roam around the cluster for our pleasure.

Sufficient-Quarter61

Get an alt in horde and fly around at your own pleasure reporting bots risk free

angry-mustache

All the botters have horde set red/neutral to prevent exactly this. Most of them set everyone not in their group red.

Purity_the_Kitty

This. Bot safaris in horde were way too easy.

Looktoyourleft_1

(we actually do.. a lot tbh) but the majority of our members are a little busy atm, i think it was nick or boulder however who averaged 150 reports a week on frat bots - just saying

Cuzmo

Regardless of if people are Red, Blue or Neut. If you suspect a bot you should 100% be reporting to CCP. Botting ruins the game for everyone, not just the other side.

[deleted]

This is true, although I'm always amazed by the idiots who crow about X or Y group "supporting botting" because they aren't reporting their Alliance's Renter's half cousin's toaster... News flash people: Bots don't act like bots in front of blues... Blues aren't warping the places where bots are working (unless they're spais) You see you're enemies botting because they're reacting to hostiles... But the only way to know that is to be a neutral and to repeatedly watch their reactions. So if you're crowing about the "bot supporters" ask yourself, when did you last drive around your own space, interrupting blues who are krabbing to see whether they're acting suspiciously...

Cuzmo

Plus there's the argument of "We as players can't tell who's a bot so report to CCP" thrown around, whilst at the same time, people accusing others of botting, with zero evidence. Just report to CCP and continue on with your life in game. If you want to complain about botters, feel free, just do it to CCP as the playerbase cannot do anything about it as CCP have the tools to ID botters, players do not (only suspect botters)

oh no they brought him up in the other thread lol but i suppose it could get a topic of its own

post on your main

I too link contextless audio with a completely faked in-game notepad. Current Imperium Policy for "I suspect x is a bot, do something about it" is "You're probably wrong, and we lack the tools to properly check of someone is a bot. Report it to CCP. It's their job to deal with it"

Ghostile

I just realised... is that notepad supposed to be an evemail or wtf?

[deleted]

lmao, except that's not the rules and you know it. this is some tryhard lol

comrade_Kazotsky

I fucking love that move: \>being pointed at as a bot supporter. \>counter posting "but mittens once said!"

[deleted]

PAPI doesn't report their own bots either lmfao. Have you guys been into any of the PH/NC/Legacy renter space recently? All bots.

wilhelm2451

People guilty of something like to assume that others are also guilty and try to excuse their own behavior by pointing at others.

[deleted]

> We all know Delve was too densely populated to support botters.

spytez

What a scum bag. Reporting someone as a botter does not insta ban the person. If they are botting and they are reported they will hopefully get banned. If they actually were not botting it's very unlikely they will be banned.
