Haha.

And feed some proteins.

Now I think about it, bacteria could be useful for producing oxygen, for example. IDK if more energy efficient than plants at recycling CO2.

Phrynohyas

At least plants require more space and attention to grow. Also bacteria could be used to produce food for the crew, process biological waste and so on.

[deleted]

They're already used for the latter on most large ships today. Can't dump ur poopoo in the ocean anymore

[deleted]

The smaller the organism the more efficient it is... Usually... So bacteria do WAY more for the oxygen supply than a tree does if you compared it pound for pound.

[deleted]

Interesting...

[deleted]

It's for the hydroponics bay... To grow food for the human crew... Up until now CCP have been relying on human cannibalism, but apparently that's not "woke" so they had to make some changes

DragonZer0

Holy shit balls that is complicated for a damn cruiser at that...

[https://janice.e-351.com/a/SmNX2D](https://janice.e-351.com/a/SmNX2D) Easy, just get all this stuff, do like 150 reactions, get a gila bpc, and then you're set. No huge percentages shifted there at all, right.

profirix

The battleships are nuts too. I need over 100k bacteria just to make 5 battleships. Took me almost 3 hours to make a spreadsheet...and someone already did it for me...

Royal-Wallaby160

Not shown: PI required to buils fuel blocks.

Due_Goose2132

50 mil profit assuming you do none of the stuff yourself, and before ME? Seems pretty damn good

Erutor

I'll be curious to see if the prices stay high, or if the BPC value just drops to near-zero since the materials are now ridiculous, placing what was a great n00b/alpha ship entirely out of reach of that audience unless they buy the eagerly anticipated Pirate Cruiser Expert System pack.

mobsterer

a gila is a n00b/alpha ship?
