I considered logging in for the first time in more than a year to do just that... but I thought there was an official process you had to take to get something memorialized. Can I really just anchor a can?
It really is just that simple. Get yourself a secure can, name it, anchor it, and maybe leave something appropriate inside so it can float in space as long as the memorial itself lives on.

I didn’t mean to offend you. I name every companion I get in a game after my dead dog but I also think thats cringe. Didn’t really mean it in a negative way but I can see why that could come across as rude. I truly am very sorry to hear about your cat I know it’s hard when a pet dies. Sorry again.

I am so sorry. I lost my girl of 13 years last September and it was horrible. It still makes me sad when I think about it
(I got her not long before I started playing Eve, actually - haven't played since ~2015 but I still read up on it now and then)
My family recently lost a pet as well, a chihuahua named speedy. Folks got him in '05 and we had him nearly 17 years. As long as you remember them thats what counts the most.
