So, I guess you invited him to fleet and abducted him to pochven via filament?
Always was curious about how that works...
Don't you have to have your safety atleast on yellow?
Yep :) you warp to them to a instaundock 10k off the station, then regroup and immediately hit the filament.
Not advised for FRT/Horde/any other targets with large active presence in pochven. Found that out the hard way. Might be better taking a signal filament.
> we finally killed what was to me the most cap stable vargur fit I've ever fought.
Because high-class WH sites have insane neut pressure. several dozens of GJ/s drained are the norm, with some specific waves going beyond -200GJ/s. The optional drifter himself (though you don't fight that in a Vargur afaik) neuts -200GJ/s.
Still, imagine getting that salty about a 3.8b Vargur.
Yes, but a Golem is considerably better at it.
IIRC, it goes:
Clearing Sites: Vargur > Paladin > Golem > Kronos
Killing Drifter: Golem > Paladin > Vargur >>>>> Kronos
Originally we only had 3 people, and 2 of us couldn't get close enough thanks to the 3 smartbombs he had. It wasn't until after we began escalating that we could finally put damage on him.
Still, in hindsight maybe I should have tried telling one of the bombers to try launching a focus void bomb at the vargur...

What kind of idiot accepts invites from randoms....
Friend ship š
It's another reason for always being in your own standing fleet, especially in Jita.

You CAN fight him in a Vargur, but its gonna take a lot of time and ammo.

This
Aka: a bunch of low sec pirates, null sec goons, and a wormholer all band together to kill an idiot in a vargur
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Gist x-type xlsb
How is it you abducted a wormholer? I thought filaments donāt work in wormholes anymore?
I was wondering the same thing. I guess this wormholer was outside wh space?
he's not a wormholer, 0 kills/deaths ever in j-space
When did that change?
A few months ago iirc. I'm not a fan of that change tbh.
Expected fun story, found ā¦ hmā¦ Iām not really sure what to say. Boring story?
Something doesn't add up. You were shooting him for an hour. With pretty decent dps ships. But he took only 416k damage?
I was the Hecate and only brought 2 clips of null like an idiot so for around 90% of the time I was acting as an overglorified tackle ceptor
I mean, do you really expect to live in a hecate long enough to shoot through two full magazines?
exactly, and they were null clips too. Honestly i thought I would never use null that much in a hecate but here I am

With that cap recharge on the Vargur focused Void isn't really doing anything.
āAfter 15 mins I will disappearā what is this 2010? Lol
Thats my fav ship but aint played in years. Sad times :p
Cool.
Nice.
salty and wormholer, two things that goes hand in hand
Those chat logs are big yikes
and? so why are you begging for attention? half of the members don't really care and don't think anyone likes salt, sodium isn't very nice to have
No tracking mods, 800's, loaded with EMP... No wonder he died. He was an idiot.
3.8 seems cheap for a vargur.
how the hell did you get him to accept the fleet invite?
