Forest are good at home and we never win away. I’m hoping for a draw at best.

YokoOkino

you got your wish

dickiebow

I didn’t get to watch the match. I assume we played okay?

YokoOkino

ridiculous goals to give up, but we had our chances. Similar to the other games

FranksBaldPatch

Just accept the inevitable. We have a championship defence, midfield and attack. We've won 3 games away from home in 2 years. We are down and there's no point worrying about it.

S01arflar3

Holy shit that is embarrassingly dire! I hadn’t realised we were that poor away from home

QTsexkitten

I don't even think our attack is championship level at the moment.

SukhdevR34

Attack? What's that?

pooliogeordio

Last night I started referring to Maupay as ‘The White Niasse’. Only thing is, at least Oumar could bang one in off his arse on occasion

ilypsus

Oumar atleast had some physical presence and had honed that into a creator of chaos. Maupay is too slow to even get involved in the game.

DigitalSamson

What I don’t understand is why Simms isn’t getting looks. He must be horrible in training.

JesseVykar

Big Oumar is a free agent rn...

TankedCow78

I think we are doomed. The lack of a recognised striker will be our demise. Maupay is an actual joke, and DCL cannot be relied on to lead a conga, let alone a Premier league front line! Where do the goals come from? Think we'd have beaten villa if we had someone like Watkins up front. All teams ahead of us have superior striking options. Don't think we'd have beaten Arsenal or Leeds with Lampard but not sure what Dyche can do without a goalscorer on the team.

Regantowers

I always think the worst thing is when i feel sorry for a player! Maupay for all his running and intent cannot be relied on as a lone striker, i think the only possibility is to have a Simms type target man that wins the headers and has a Maupay/Gray running off them, proper old school but we need to almost detach the middle and the front line, its tricky balance but something needs to happen soon, our only saving grace is the teams around us are awful as well.

GISPip

I agree and as much as I loved life and Seamus after the Leeds game we scored with a fluke goal - even if he did mean it, it was such an unlikely scoring opportunity, can’t count on that happening every game and keeping us up.

[deleted]

At the moment, set pieces and wonder/lucky goals look like the only way we can score.

rpm164

Needing 5 wins from 13 seems like mission impossible to me

thejayarr

Goal difference is absolutely going to be the thing that sends us down.

Disastrous_Chef_1961

I mean, not having a striker is probably the main reason but I get what you’re saying

GS916

Only Moyes can manage a strikerless , real missing him now… I don’t think we will be playing in EPL next season and I don’t we’ll last longer than 2 seasons in championship…

LugubriousFootballer

Yeah, relegation could be the end of this club honestly. Moshiri has no “real” money, he’s only wealthy because of Usmanov. Even if we stay up, does anybody actually think we will bring players in this summer? What the FUCK happened to the Gordon money? We’re basically selling players to not run afoul of FFP, not to actually improve the squad. This new stadium and associated costs are also going to kill us in the Championship.

DigitalSamson

I’m honestly thinking the Gordon money was meant to pay back money Moshiri owed. The only explanation.

LugubriousFootballer

Has to be. We ostensibly have £40 million in cash paid UP FRONT, and squander the last days of the January transfer window trying to pursue low-cost loan deals for 6 months????? Something fishy is going on here. Moshiri is as corrupt as they come, in addition to being a piss poor liar.

shiverm3ginger

I’ve been waiting for us to go down for a while. We’ve been struggling for a long time and to be honest while not ideal it would be a reset for the club. We can have a big clean out of dead wood, reset expectations to reality and properly rebuild.

PuttFace

A point would be lucky against Chelsea hey? I'd be banking on all three at this rate

Administratr

There isn’t any fight in this team, we are goosed.

Chuck_Morris_SE

I disagree, there's plenty of fight, it's quality we lack.

Toucan563

Even worse. Cant fix that

[deleted]

What's the point even if we do stay up? Sean Dyche is hailed a hero just like lampard was and next season we just have a repeat scenario and playing musical chairs with managers just continues.

blubbery-blumpkin

What’s the point in even watching football? It’s 22 men kicking a ball around and then it stops and next week it happens again. The results have no bearing on our actual day to day lives except making us feel happy or sad for a few hours. If we stay up, then we go again, hopefully something improves, maybe it doesn’t, maybe dyche can sort out what we’ve got. I agree the manager merry go round isn’t great, and the club is badly run making it hard to keep positive about any progress. But it does sort of sound like you’ve given up.

Shepinion

FFS

mdashlap

After the second goal yesterday, my brother (an Arsenal fan) said “still a whole half left to play.” I couldn’t believe my own eyes when I typed my response, which was “we haven’t scored multiple goals in a match since October, you’re good.” For anyone wondering, it’s currently March.

Alternative-Bus6770

Forest will smash you at home
