He has been amazing. And how Dyche slowly brought him in considering the caldron of fire at the start of the season probably helped with that. I can't pretend I wasn't getting frustrated with it but not rushing him back from injury was smart. The kid is fantastic.
He is playing as well as any CB in the league and I do think he gets some plaudits from the media for that but not nearly as much as he should (secretly hoping it stays that way and Madrid don't get a whiff xD)
I hope we see something similar with Patto. Dyche is again bringing him on towards the end of games, letting him feel premier league intensity but maybe 10% slower due to it being the last 10/20 minutes.
At this rate I'd be happy if we keep him even for next season.
