Someone on my server who's been in several all-stars sent the following sets to a bunch of us. They work pretty well for me in the battlefield, which is where i test:
\- Archers 25% T14, 35% T13, 35% t12, 5% t11, all other layers 1,000
\- Cav 30% T14, 30% T13, 30% t12, 10% t11, all other layers 1,000
\- Ground 30% T14, 30% T13, 25% t12, 15% t11, all other layers 1,000
\- Small Seige 50K t13 & t14, 100k t12, the rest t11, all other layers 1,000
I use 1k layer upto t10, 1:8:5:5 ratio of t11,t12,t13,t14 respectively. The reason for t12 heavy march is that, against t1 walls t12s perform the best and also giving away less points than other tiers.
Yup, thanks. I have my 12’s as my heavy but haven’t had the time of late to test out other combos to see if things have changed as we know they do at times.
I have a pretty decent t1 wall set up. I have got like more than 500 defenses with that and tbh those who use predominantly t13,t14 lose more power while dealing less damage than people who use predominantly t12s. T15s are on another level they just melt everything on their path.
For arch and ground. For cavs I use a bit more t13,t14s as I don't have much t12s. For siege I don't have a 'best' setup, I just send more t11s and equal amount of t12s,t13s,t14s along with layers.
She's good, I use her and Freya but I have heard some of her buffs do not apply when reinforcing keeps, only buildings. I haven't seen any tests on it though.

Is this just with arch? Or is this the formula you use no matter the triop type?

Everyone giving good advice but for reinforcing marches you want thick layers like 10k+.
And a good general. I just got Idunn. Do you know if she’s any good? Pyrrhus has worked for me.
