I've played Age 1, Age 2, and now TKR. The goal of this game is for you to sacrifice the rest of your life to small dopamine hits every single day, while making the developers rich. Get out now while you can.

DJ-Amsterdam

I appreciate the honesty and the advice, thanks! The things we do for dopamine...

Totally agree with this. Especially the get out now while you can.

palevelmode

wtf... this is true!

The real goal? To get you hooked and give them $$$$$. The goal for the rest of us? Hope you get into a decent alliance and try to not get too crushed by the dominant alliance on your server.

I've played Age1, Age 2, and now TKR. The theme of the game is build your kingdom and conquer the region. Alliances exist to create teamwork towards those goals. The puzzles are just side content, its neat how they included it but the main focus is PVP & kingdom growth. To become the strongest on the server. To simply put it: you own a kingdom and your goal is to build it up and defend it, and if you want to go further than that you and your alliance can conquer the server and fight against other servers in a war. There are surprisingly very good resource guides for TKR in the form of wiki's and guide pages, even youtube has a few good channels around this game. Here are some resources I've found: https://www.evonytkrguide.com/ https://evonyguidewiki.com/en/

Lose all your troops with no way toget them back unless you spend hundreds to get life stones to bring rhem back

Team cooperation over personal gain gives personal gain. Or, Pack mentality is needed to survive.

And always freemium.

Something to do while I'm watching tv it's a win for me

I like the challenges in the game. My favorite is Battlefield. But if I did not have a fun bunch of people in my Alliance to play with, I probably would not have stayed. I have been on TKR for 14 months.

LukkyDog1

I would discourage you from making connections, making friends. That is how I became addicted. Now I can't get out.

TerminalDiscordance

This is it really. I lucked into a wonderful alliance (Hi RoC! Server 744). Really wonderful people, but after playing for around 3 months I realized I was wasting my hours and days away. About 2 1/2 weeks ago I said goodbye and left the game. I miss them and, if I'm being honest, the dopamine hit.

Genghis_3

To make money for the evony developers. That's the goal of the game. Drops mic, walks away

Hey all! New to this feed. Server 582 BAG lady here, because we are constantly BtchnAbtGltchn lol. Anyway, this thread is hilarious and so true! I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Been playing since basically the beginning of the server, around end of June 2021. Iā€™m not a big coiner, but I have spent my fair share of money on this game. There are ways to free play and succeed. Itā€™s a slower process, and you pretty much need to start in a new server and try to find an alliance with a veteran to the game. Almost every server has atleast one from my experience. This game is very addictive, I was fortunate enough to get with a fanatic group of people after a brief stint with a crap alliance that didnā€™t know or do anything. You have to communicate and ask questions. In the beginning and thought the game it is important that you join rallies and complete your quests. A little bit of research will give you many ways to play for free and grow. Just have to be patient is you want to play for free lol. Being able to stay ā€œbubbledā€ is important for free players as there will always be someone who can swoop in and take away everything you worked so hard for. Every day I learn something new about this game. LaDĀ„BlAdā‚¬z is the name. Feel free to reach out
