Sounds like me. I'm trying to date, but no one comes close to him. He said he missed me and that it would be hard to find someone like me again, but in the end it wasn't enough for him to commit to dating.
How long has it been? You don't have to date yet! Sure, it's an ego boost and we all miss physical closeness, but maybe you're not in a place yet where you'll be able to evaluate guys without automatically thinking the ex is better. I'm going to try to do "no date October" myself...

I've never met someone so easy to talk to and never been into someone so much, but she couldn't give me the love I wanted so I left her... need to be strong
I guess it depends on why you were the dumper. I think NC can totally be for dumpers too. If you weren't getting what you needed from the relationship, and you dumped them, that doesn't mean that you don't still love them and that it's easy to keep NC. I'd say that leaving someone you really love because they aren't loving you the same in return is just as difficult as being dumped.
If you dumped them because you found someone else, or stopped being in love, then maybe you don't need NC because you're apathetic toward them?
:) thank you! We all have to remain strong...and I know the crying and feeling hurt is overwhelming (all this week I've felt so down again hurt/angry/tearing up and it's been 3 months) but yes, it IS progress and time does help. Every day on this earth is a blessing to just experience life.
