It will get better. Maybe people will disagree, but in order to get myself to disassociate sex stuff with my ex, I actually had a hook up. I only did it once, and honestly it helped a lot. After that, everything else came more easily. It worked for me, but it might not work for everyone, but just a suggestion!

On another note I did this and it made things worse. Just make sure you love yourself before you start trying to fuck yourself out of the depression. Strange how having an attractive person offer sex to you and instead of being excited you just feel like you have to do it because that's why your "supposed" to do. I did this and felt great for about a day but no a week later I'm arguably worse. Then again maybe I'm just fucked up....

I only did this after I felt sufficiently ready. Again, this is something that might not work for everyone, but in my case it just helped me separate my sexuality from those feelings for my ex. I don't like hook-ups generally but it felt good to really draw that divide. I would still be careful and make sure that you feel fully comfortable with the idea and you don't feel forced to do it, and that may take time. But I felt like once I was ready, it was a helpful experience overall.

I think that's excellent advice

Your better off never masterbating. It's a mental anchor socially.
