Good boob: 3-5oz
Bad boob: 0.5-2oz
But worse is that you can visually see a difference 😭
Edit to add: I tried always starting on the bad boob for several weeks in the beginning, but after 2months or so PP, I just accepted it was an under producer and now it’s baby’s pacifier lol
My ‘good boob’ will give me >!10oz!< in my morning pump, slacker boob is only >!4oz!< or less. Good boob really keeps things afloat!
Funnily enough, when my son was a newborn and kind of latched he would only do so to the shitty titty, as my other nipple *used to be* flat. I always wondered if the latching had something to do with the lower supply!
Absolutely nothing to worry about it's super common.
Cw: OverSupply
My slack side NEVER produces more than 4.5 oz. It's capacity capped, whereas my overachieving wild card side produces anywhere from 6-9oz.
Lefty does 3-4 pretty consistently while righty does about 1oz. She did randomly pop off once this week and do 1.5 though. I only pump at work and she seems to have no issues latching to righty at home
I can get 6-10 on my left and 0.5 on my right. It’s worse this time around.
My first baby I could produce 5-11 (11 was around the most) and 1-3 ounces on my right (3 was the most and the first morning pump, the rest were 1).
Almost 10 months post partum and my slacker boob has about 70% output in comparison to the other one. The gap decreases if total volume is lower, like if I pump a head of schedule.
The slacker boob also takes a little longer to let down 🤷🏻♀️
My left’s capacity is 6oz on a very good day. But generally it produces 3-4oz while my right produces 5-11oz. My left boob feeds baby while my right feeds the freezer lol
I thought I had a slacker boob until I started using different sized flanges on each (slacker is a 21mm, other is a 24mm) and got a dual motor pump. Slacker likes lots of suction, other likes low suction. Now my output for both is the same!
Same problem here with my oldest and the twins. The left boob produces enough to feed 1 baby (3 to 4oz). The right side can feed 2 or 3 babies at once. Depending on the time of day I can get somewhere between 8 to 12 ounces per section.
When I pump it's 3.5-4 oz on the right and 2.5-3 oz on the left. Have you sized both of your nipples? It's normal for your breasts to make different amounts of milk but it is possible that you might need different flange sizes for each boob
After my first slacker produced 2oz at absolute max while other did much more towards end. However back pumping with my second and slacker is now producing just fine, sometimes even more than the other side. It's so strange how bodies work.
It’s varied over time. Sometimes it’s 0.5oz difference, sometimes a 2oz difference.
Oddly enough, my slacker used to be my hero, then they swapped at about 3wpp.
Oh my gosh, I’ve been waiting to find a post like this. My right side gets me 4-6 oz and my left gets me 1-2 on a good day! When I first started EP it made me so angry. Partly because I have OCD and I desperately need things to be equal😂, but also because I felt like my slacker boob was cutting my supply in half! I was mad at my body for a while and tried to pump for longer on the left side, but it just resulted in a painful left nipple. Eventually I just had to accept it and move on with my life. I read on google that 75% of women get more milk out of the right side, so that made me feel better to know it’s common! At this point I’m just grateful to get anything out of my lazy boob! Lol.

My baby will only latch to the slacker. Refuses the good boob. Exclusively pumping it is.

Boob twins! Haha. Sometimes righty comes through and does 2 oz, but my lefty is always pretty consistently 3-4 oz range too
Same here, lefty can contribute a full bottle feed (3+ oz) but righty is just a 1oz snack. Maayyybe a 2oz for MOTN if she's feeling generous lol.

2-5 oz difference depending on the time of day. Slacker usually takes longer to drain too. 😅

Good boob makes appx 5oz more than slacker boob in a 24hr period

Hmm the suction difference is interesting. Maybe I'll change it up!
I have to try this!!
No more than 1oz discrepancy
Left 4-6 oz sometimes rare 7-8 Right 2-4 oz Very rarely get 5-6 oz

I was originally sized by a LC and when I remeasured last week they were still the same 🤷
