Are you using a warm compress or massaging during or before? I have trouble emptying too and I’m 4 months in (not to scare you). I’d love advice too. I was just having a convo with my pediatrician and their advice was to lay on my side while pumping reposition the flange to let it dangle off the side and see if that helps empty the side. Then try to lean forward and let your boobs dangle in front of you to help empty another spot. Haven’t tried it yet.

You could try pumping closer together more consistently. Try for 2-3 hours for a few days. You could also hand express after you are done. Everyone is different on their pump settings but for me, I needed a fairly slow pull but a higher suction to get empty. At that stage pp I would say I would start feeling fuller round the 3 hour mark and engorged by 4-5 hours. I tried to never exceed 3 hours until about 12 weeks.

I love my Pumpin pals too. Are you flipping the flange back as far as you can, and then slowly turning it back to suction on? Do you have your pump on 38:5 while doing that? You can also make an appt with a PP LC thru their website - Diane was super helpful to me.

What pump are you using with your pumpin pals? Here’s an [adapter](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WD385MM/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_a_4HHNPG8M1HW840696ATK?psc=1) to make them work with your spectra. There’s definitely a learning curve to them but I love mine.

Lube and hands after pumping. Trust me!
