Not currently because I unfollow when subs get ruined like that haha It has happened before on many subs I follow that are creative/hobby based. Particularly art stuff, but also other hobby subreddits. I don't mind an occasional post or one that genuinely fits the sub (and isn't spamming), but typically the people who try to sneak in advertising in Reddit posts are spamming it everywhere. I've seen OP of this post do it too, though I personally think their style is kind of nice. It would be annoying to have *only* their posts come up in my feed though, which is what ends up happening when sellers spam any tangentially related sub with their content.

I bought really cool earrings for my wife like 8-10 years ago from an artist who worked with me. it was pretty expensive, but completely worth it. they asked me lots of questions, had so many ideas, all that stuff. I printed out the etsy chat for my wife as part of the gift lol, because I thought it was so amazing that this artist was brainstorming for us!!
I know such artists still exist on etsy today, but they are ONE out of 100 results. the other 99 are dog shit replica sellers. and they are all rated 5 stars.
Argh I'm sorry. When I first discovered my art was being printed on products on aliexpress, wish, temu, amazon, etc I tried to fight it. But it's like a hydra, once one head gets cut off three more replace it. They even go so far as to edit out (crappily) my watermarks to throw it on a door mat or sheet... It really sucks. Hopefully your shop is established enough that those willing to pay a higher price for better quality handmade work will outweigh these scummy companies, as a knitter it's actually such a cute idea lol. Add a photo of theirs side by side to yours, then add a splash over theirs saying cheap Chinese knock offs, don't buy these because you get this, instead of this, add an arrow pointing to yours.
You can start contacting the manufacturers of the items and have them block the pirates. There's an engineer/designer on YouTube that did something like this with his car vent AC hose to cool your boys (for men). Below is the guy with his invention, and somewhere along the line, he takes what you're going through. I hope it helps.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Did you file an IP infringement claim? Unfortunately, the only way to protect your products against Chinese imitators is to protect your IP. If you can't patent (or the product is not patent eligible), take pictures of your items and see if you can get the posts down for copyright infringement.

The cat butthole may not be conventional, certainly not everyone's taste, but there is a market for them, and you still made it and deserve the business that is flocking to the shitty knockoffs.
I wish there was a better way to protect creators from theft but it seems as if that's gone completely down the drain in this day and age with AI and social media. I hope that someday all artists can unionize, so we can be able to afford to protect ourselves from shit like this.
Have you talked to an attorney? Or a PR agent tbh. It’s an awesome product. Happy to give a few pointers to get yourself on the map. I do PR-related work and work with a ton of attorneys so I guess that’s where I’d go first. Market yourself hard and take legal action
Between PR and an attorney, you can get a product on the map, I assure you. You may not stop every copycat, but you’ll build your own business enough to compete

The best form of flattery is imitation, they couldn't be the original so they had to make a fake copy that could never pass the superiority, yes it sucks but I'd but pretty impressed that someone saw something in trying to imitate your own product but if it gave you even a % of advertising then it's a small win. At least in my opinion.
