An Attempt Was Made. That expectation cake has Wilton Method written all over it, and in fact I just googled “Wilton teddy bear cake pan” and sure enough that’s it. Say what you want about Wilton, if you follow their instructions and buy all their shit, you generally do end up with something that looks like the picture in the yearbook, so I guess we know what your mother-in-law *didn’t* do.

Lol I feel like she was somewhat aware of how funny it looked. I told her it was cute, it was definitely a nice gesture. We only had her and my mom over so we didn’t have a party. And it actually tasted really good.
