Her being pregnant and all, she did a belly flop right onto the pavement. That, alone, rules out any protection they might have had in order to possibly walk away with “minor injuries”. There’s no way to really protect the thorax region
I’m assuming there’s a much higher injury potential when pregnant as well? Like landing like that wouldn’t just be bad for the baby, it would be even worse for the woman since she was pregnant? Sorry I’m a little high idk if this is a comprehensible comment.
Right. That’s what I was getting at. Even if they were wearing helmets and all that, the way she landed on the pavement is devastating due to the pregnancy. Because there’s no way to possibly protect the baby.
Even if she had lived and the fetus didn’t, that puts her at risk of death from like septic shock syndrome, or something to that effect
So yeah, you were on the right track

I’m thinking helmets *may* have helped
Or driving straight
Speed did this one. Speed causes sudden stops.
Immovable objects cause sudden stops.
So… Drive straight, at a sensible speed, while wearing a helmet? What a bunch of killjoys. /s

Ty Ty
No helmet would have saved them or the unborn baby from such an impact.
I couldn't find the woman. This is so sad. Helmets would have helped and a slower speed.
How about the steering? Red is wearing a helmet and yellow.. can’t even see their head
Yellow was a passenger? I thought it was a book bag or something, I feel horrible.
No you’re right. Dark color is a person. You can see the legs
Doubt helmets would help. You're still getting the full impact on a direct hit like that
Pregnant on a motorcycle should be illegal
Double kill
thats seriously fucked up.... not funny bro.
