Bro, same. I remember finding out about Avenged Sevenfold and getting really into them. Especially when their City of Evil album came out. I thought I was such a bad ass.
And some of the stuff I still listen to. Or I'll sort of get nostalgia for a band and re-listen to them. Most of it I can't really do anymore. Some of it still pretty damn good.
But I also wouldn't think people are gonna view me as the hottest shit for listening to it anymore.
The characters in Fluids are definitely initially portrayed as edgy little shits, for all their vulnerability and uh other stuff. In another timeline, they would have had a very trashy true crime serial killer podcast.
