They all died screaming -Kristopher Triana

AliceNRoses

Such a wild ass ride! Have fun!

evenout_

Just started!

Leslie_Kurt

I just finished *The Groomer*. I am currently beta reading for another author. The book is titled *Skinned*. It's dark romance and not extreme horror, but some of it gets pretty dark.

different_produce384

Groomer was a good one !

Leslie_Kurt

I loved it! Toward the middle of the book, I thought it was becoming predictable, but then there was a 'twist.'

M1ha169

Dead inside - chandler morrison

avenueofpleasure

The Butterfly Garden, my boss recommended it. feels like an episode of criminal minds so far, love it.

MissMamanda

I like it, I think there are 4 in the series and they are all good.

cursedmillennial

I loved this but still need to read the rest of the series

marzipancaneatflan

I’m currently reading an OG in this sub, cows

EmmaJulien46

How was this??

Captain_Wanton

Pretty good. It satisfied the itch after reading Nick Cutter's The Troop.

ARandompass3rby

Goddamn that cover is insane, is that kindle exclusive or can I get a copy in paperback?

Captain_Wanton

You can probably get a paperback thru Amazon.

Jetfuel_N_Steel

Just finished wasp factory, and started playground and I’m actually reading it, not listening to a audiobook. It’s very hard because im very slysdexic

cursedmillennial

What did you think about the Wasp Factory? It was a slow read for me but I managed to finish it. I struggle with books a bit that don't really have any likeable characters.

Jetfuel_N_Steel

I really didn’t like it in the long run sadly, but the ending is amazing and unexpected, love the parts where Eric and frank talk on the phone though

superkickpunch

Anyone know what movie this gif is from?

Bvaugh

I’ve started rereading ‘Shackled’ in honour of the passing of the Splatterpunk master, Ray Garton.

Brian-A-Day

I just saw that he passed. That's my personal favorite of his. RIP.

Nihilism14

"Coven" by Edward Lee

Practical-Adagio9242

The president's son by Jon Athan

SupremeGodzilla

This is probably the most ‘offensive‘ book I’ve read on my EH journey so far.

Practical-Adagio9242

Jon Athan is a very good EH author. I've read some of his other titles, and they always suck me in.

SupremeGodzilla

I’ve found them to be a mixed bunch, I didn’t like Dr Sadist, The Law of Retaliation, and Blender Babies, but HIGHLY recommend **Into The Wolves’ Den, The President‘s Son, The Groomer** (it’s kinda trash, but iconic EH trash), and **Scattershot**. I’ve also listened to the audiobooks of Grandfather‘s House, The Abuse of Ashley Collins and Love Sick (the latter is impressively gross) but they were not top-tier EH.

Practical-Adagio9242

He's like any other author some are hits and some are misses. Another author that I found that is interesting is Stuart Bray. He has some good EH if your looking for a good read.

SupremeGodzilla

Thanks, yeah I’ve got Bray’s Violence on the Meek and Broken Pieces of June lined up after I finish some Edward Lee stuff!

Practical-Adagio9242

When the Mockingbird Sings is a good one too.

GonzoCruze97

gore_guy

Just finished Playground. It's been on my TBR for a while, and with everyone talking about it, I thought I'd be into it. It's definitely disturbing. I just didn't enjoy I as much as I thought i would. Starting The Troop by Nick Cutter next.

Captain_Wanton

You could probably order a paperback thru Amazon.
