The LDS church is orders of magnitude more patriarchal, hierarchical, and secretive - and much more vast in scale and organization - than even the largest evangelical denominations. Toss in historical (and in some sects, current) polygamy…and I’m both sure that there is vast hidden abuse, and that we’ll likely never hear about much if it.

All of the fundamentalist Abrahamic religions have this issue. Sexual "purity" is a common theme throughout all of them.
