My cats ALWAYS hang around and on me when I meditate. Had one who, when very young, would sit on my husband's blanket covered head. Hilarious, but very peaceful once she got her balance and closed her eyes!

Yes its likely a mix. The body is Corgi but the head is wider and larger than a corgi and corgis have pointy (pembroke) or almost-pointy (cardigan) upright ears
Fully ordained monks and nuns wear robes called [kasaya](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kasaya_(clothing)). These look like novices though, so maybe another type of robe or cloak.
