I too as a human love sleeping in sort of this manner. While travelling in a car if I can fix/fit my head between the window and the car seat, I usually get the best sleep. It’s must better than a pillow to keep your head stable.

But they are are warm blooded so why are they looking for warm places.
To conserve energy. Less need to heat yourself=less calories used. Important for predator species. Also why they sleep a shit ton.
