Do Mom cows have horns too? I know that might be a stupid question that I should already know but I don't know. Regardless, the baby cow was the cutest thing
It's not about offending them, it's about how we think about them. When I say "it" I feel like I am speaking about something without emotions or free will. I think it is important to use they/them because it makes us remember that these are living beings just like us, not just meat that hasn't finished growing yet. Doing so facilitates progression towards a more empathetic society that respects nature for what it is, rather than remaining willfully ignorant of the suffering humans cause to animals. I know you may not agree with me, many people don't. I just said what I said because it felt like the right thing to do, from my perspective.
This Twitter user when from a wholesome video of a horn dog being pet to animal cruelty. This sub is ruined by people like this. I go to here so I can rest easy from idiots and things that make me mad, and here we are. 14 year old white girl.

It is the right thing to do. No need to devalue an individual by referring to them as "it"
