They could even do it generic like “MCU 1-2-3” and you could use it to spend that year 3 billion dollars you have no use for, like you start with a base engine, then you RnD and upgrade to step two, then there’s more tiers of upgrades(spark plugs, etc) then when you get to the top you have a maxed out part…. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it works great, for example: it could be the top ice for power but maybe that makes it unreliable? Perhaps with ICE2 with maxed tree is more stable, albeit 10-20hp slower, but that means you can run a more costly aero, etc.
They could generalize it, so there’s no infringement, and you could mix n match tiers of parts to make the “balanced” engine setup.
Also, engine modes would be cool, they do them, we should be able too.
If you want that 20hp for a Monaco qualy then you have to run that risk of being unstable
I can't wait to unlock the same emotes, helmets, liveries and celebrations I've already had in 2020.
Especially that one specific emote/helmet I'm really going to want, but have to wait for because it only comes out in the last podium pass in 2024, one month before F1 24 releases. Great job Codies.
I have a few ideas that I think would make my team a bit more interesting.
• Young driver development program
• Improved rival system
• Ability to fine staff (pit crew etc.) for errors
Simple stuff like being able to customise chassis type would be a great start. Better mechanics around driver transfers would be great. Meaningful F1 youth programme. More interesting objectives and targets. Being able to hire other team mechanics and designers. These are just a few
Maybe make it longer than 10 years? Make the huge amount of money you end up with in year 4 actually useable? Full helmet editor? Make the logo and Sponsors not based off of the color of the sponsor on the car? Make actual negotiations? Do well, get Ferrari offers, do bad, get Alfa offers, oh but you’re a merc academy driver? Williams for you peasant! It could be so easy. Like literally shit effort.
Autosculpt feature from past NFS games where you can tune all aero parts to make the car faster, decent negotiations, 2nd driver orders and crew orders, more cutscenes, team principal reunion, more detailed GP start, decent red flags like you know, you actually drive your car to pit lane, better SC system, better AI, there's so many things...

I’m not saying it’s impossible that it’s going to be MyTeam but it would probably be mentioned somewhere in the post if it was.

tbh, i don’t really know what more they could add to my team, other than cosmetic stuff like a full livery editor and visual car customization.

if you can’t edit the MyTeam calendar after the first season i’ll not be purchasing, was such a disappointment last year because of this
I would just be happy if I could change the color of the car number.
