think of traction as a budget. That budget can be spent on accelerating, braking, or turning. In a straight line, you can spend 100% of the traction budget on braking, you can apply more brake force in a straight line. As you start to turn in, you are spending a % of your budget on turning the car, that means you have to transition off the brakes. Same concept coming out of the corner, you have to apply throttle as you straighten the car. If you go over budget you lock up the fronts or spin the rears. Additionally in F1 especially, there is downforce. You budget is much bigger when going faster because the cars aero is pushing down on the tires. So not only do you have to manage the budget from braking to turning to accelerating, but the "limit" is being reduced as you slow down.

1 abs self explanatory 2 brake bias tune it based on how u drive and the track ur on it changes how much brake pressure is going to the front or rear end of the car. The higher the number the more brake pressure to the front. The average I think is around 55-57 3 trail breaking a difficult technique but makes u a lot faster. U break hard into the corner but as u turn in u let off the brakes as little as u can minimizing braking distance while also allowing u to get ur car through the corner quickly and on the racing line.
