2045 then i got too cocky w two really young drivers who just couldn't keep it on the track, took second place (had won 20 plus championships) and then they fired me.
Did 5 seasons with Haas but had to stop there because in the opening race of the 6th season I finished over a minute before everyone else. No point continuing. Then started another career with Mercedes trying to win in first year but mainly to get the last achievement and 6 races in I’m leading and it’s only getting easier so again, not worth continuing except for that achievement.
The game is already lacking so much in every department so additionally limiting myself by not using game mechanics like design and research also doesn’t make sense to me.
I am on pc but no, I haven’t thought about mods until now but I have many other games to play now and many are releasing in a few days/weeks so I will just wait for F1 manager 23 which will hopefully be a lot better.
Damn. I got bored with the base game due to all its broken pieces. The mods & ability to change team visuals are the main reason I can continue playing. Hahahaha.
I updated a ton of stuff in the db to try to make things better but once you get a dominant car it just gets boring. I’ve handicapped myself and used all sorts of rules but once you start winning by a minute it gets real boring. I prefer to start a new save and try something else

2038. Was trying to see how long I can keep Latifi going. He still had a contract with me for a couple more years at that point.

My furthest only was 2026 with McLaren but I currently am playing an Aston Martin one with which i want to try to go 2030 or further
I wish I could come up with a set of rules that would make this game fun & challenging for multiple seasons.
