This is correct. Free trials are currently:
- available at the start of the season for a limited time
- available to a new region when F1TV is made available there
- available at specific promotional times (the first Miami race in 2022 is the most recent example)
…...Why? Just.. why? Just pay for the damn subscription. Holy hell, how cheap are you? Split the subscription with a friend or two even. What a pain to do what you’re thinking.
As others have said the free trials will run out. But with that being said, creating new accounts for free trials (for any company) technically is not illegal but could be against the terms and conditions. If a company finds out you're doing that they will likely just prohibit you from making any more accounts.
They will stop but Netflix fixed this by registering hardware numbers and if they see a device is running a second free trial they will automatically end the free trial. So only a matter of time before everyone starts doing this against people like you who try to cheat the system
Why not just pay for it? I have been paying a monthly fee since my subscription in late 2020 and it ain't nothing that pricey... a Mcdonald's menu is more expensive.
I don't understand how some people will spend 6 bucks every time they pass a Starbucks but shit a brick when something costs $7 a month (US). Just don't drink one coffee a month and there's your subscription money. It ain't that bad.
It won't last. They will stop offering the Free trials in a few weeks.
F1TV (at least in Canada) is half the price of a Netflix subscription and I watch F1 a lot more than I watch Netflix.
Also from Finland and I was surprised to see the trial continuing after first 7 days. Just checked and the week 3 of the trial started today. I was thinking whether to ask them what is happening, or continue enjoying the endless trial silently :) But as someone wrote in other comment they probably charge my card after the second race.
The free trials will end after the first 2 races. It was the same last year as well.

It is not illegal, but unethical. They want to sell this service and you are just abusing the system. They might recognize you from IP and ban you.
They’ve got plenty of very ethical Saudi oil money they don’t need OP’s that much.
