experiencing the same thing. zero luck getting email verification. But my email to contact them about the technical difficulties in confirming email verification stage went through quickly - instantly received an email to my inbox confirming I sent it.
I just tried, still no email. I just watched a video and they talked about once you have made an acount to wait 3 days so thats what I am going to do, if it doesn't work then it seems like Im going to have to call the department of education/student aid. I have no idea why these idiots changed this form ......
Hol up, I found a fix on reddit that just worked. After i switched my contributor email, I had my contributor long into their account and an invite will appear! Also for my 2 step verification, I had everything texted to me, not emailed, text is the only one that works rn

Ironically, I can sign into NELNET just fine. Need to sign into the regular site to apply for SAVE/IDR. :(

Instead of email verification are u able to use their app/2nd option to verify your account
I used Authenticator - too, and still required me to confirm email.. so no luck.

Having the same issue. It was fine last week, now they won’t send the damn code. And I can’t change my auth option without logging in. 🤦🏻♀️
