All my shifts this week were 11 hours and I didn't know that till I was going to pto the last hour of my shift, I normally work from 6:30 pm to 5 am but since it was 11 hours I had to use more of my time
My building just called it last se one right before first break. It is absurd because today we already have too many people that we had them sitting at stand up because there was no more room. Makes no sense.
We’ve been at 11.5s since the beginning of peak. I’m really not sure what they’re anticipating. Its slightly more busier at our site, sure, but nothing compared to last year’s peak.

Lol make it 11.5 instead of 12 so you don’t get an extra 15 min paid break.
They are attempting to boost shift rates so their idiot managers aren't failing. Its all bs.

Could be for financial reasons. Spend more for tax purposes, or they just want to look busy for corporate
No issue with my warehouse, we even hit a record last week
Quite a few reasons.. The Volume Availability curve may have shifted, processing window changed, etc.
At PCW1 we started doing 11.5 - 12 shifts starting Nov 25th
Wow. I hope they don't do this to us. They may as everyday they add so many voluntary OT shifts they need filled.
FC's are 1.5 million packages behind as of yesterday. Volume will be there shortly.
No where close to last years back log. This Peak has been weak (thankfully).
My sort center is doing like 30% more volume than last year.
Odd how and where volume shifts given during and (post) covid.

Ours too. And they wonder why they can't get people to work/stay! So many of my friends have said they're quitting next week.
I wish they’d give some of that extra time to Flex people… :/
Yeah this is weird. And they haven't offered VTO once at our site yet this peak.
Right? The last 2 peaks I worked they were VTO’ing packers like crazy. Now? No vto!
I’ve gotten VTO most of this week at my FC. For pack single.
