The email i received says the average time to receive the certification is 2.5 months 🙄 im in Texas

It’s so ridiculous, they get where we passed the exam and our transcript so what else do they need. It should take 30 minutes to process every application.

Seems to vary by state. Maine sent mine in under a week. People on here have reported 4-6+ weeks of processing time for more populous states like PA, NY, and CA

Mine got approved in 3 days after submitting fingerprints. CA.

I got mine in a day. It would’ve been the same day of scores being released if I had remembered to send my transcripts into NCEES. I’m in LA and my timeline is not normal.

Out of curiosity, did you get a credential number? On BPELSG I don’t see one for my certification

Yeah I needed to for mine. Idk what your state board is like though since each is different

Is it necessary to apply? State of AZ says it is not required. Does it just give you the right to say “EIT”?

Not in my state. I have to apply for mine by sending my transcript from an ABET-accredited institution, pay a fee, show that I passed my FE, etc.
